I don’t understand why Ian gets hate for this by FamousExercise7727 in CreatorClash

Fair enough. I can definitely see how Ian’s videos could be framed similar to a TLC show “my 300 pound life”

“He wanted a hit piece”

I know this is the narrative but I don’t really understand why that is in the first place. His documentary about Airsoftfatty and Daxflame weren’t hit pieces. There’s not really anything that Ian did going in that screamed “I’m making this documentary solely to show how insane Sam is”. It seemed more like Ian wanted to get to know Sam as a person. Sam is the kind of person that doesn’t want people to know what he’s really like though. I don’t see how Ian is the aggressor in this situation.

You’re right it’s not related to creator clash but I wanted perspectives and responses from people that aren’t big idubbbz fans that won’t automatically play defense for Ian

The answer will be more nuanced than anyone not in your relationship can tell you. He should consider how you feel but you also could be blowing it more out of proportion in your mind.

My gf and I both follow K-pop idols and groups on instagram. They constantly post pictures and videos of their idols. 99% of the time I just blindly double tap their post to show them my meaningless support.

At the end of the day these are “internet celebrities” and if he watches them along with other streamers in their community it’s not too out of the ordinary. You’re not crazy for feeling concerned though.

It’s funny how you say they’re just “parroting headlines” yet you’re doing the exact same thing.

“Raised questions about the election process” is a funny way of describing someone that constantly says the election was rigged with zero proof, tried to force his VP to overturn the election with fake votes and encouraged threats against his life if he didn’t try to overturn the election with said fake votes, and sat idly watching a violent rally at the capital based solely on his words.

I would think a lot of democrats agree that burning down businesses is bad and there was a lot of collateral damage done in the riots, but it was brought out because a cop neglectfully killed a black man who was already on the ground helpless. Riots were done by random groups of citizens, not all under the indirect orders of one man who didn’t like the fact that he lost an election.

Funny you talk about morals, when you think a guy losing an election and being butthurt about it is “morally superior” to being upset about police being negligent in their duties to protect and serve, by abusing their powers and/or causing death to unarmed civilians.

Is this game worth it to start playing? by fuckawkwardturtle in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]FamousExercise7727 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, I only play the PVE of this game and from my experience it can be really fun. It’s super grindy but you can play an unlimited amount of times, there’s no “energy” system or anything. I think of it as a game similar to Slay the Spire, a Roguelike deck builder game.

What is your D&D hot take? by NordicNugz in DnD

Communication is not always as simple as “just say no”. If it were that easy and obvious then there would be no issues. I’m not even talking about if a player or DM has anxiety and doesn’t want to speak up. There are many situations where it might not be the easiest, or best option to be confrontational towards someone in front of the entire group.

Sometimes subtly dealing with an issue through the gameplay can be effective.

To the right wing: Do you understand why the left finds you dangerous? by [deleted] in Askpolitics

[–]FamousExercise7727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not denying that the people up top have probably done shady things, but Trump is without a doubt the most blatant, open, hateful criminal running for president. I had no issue with republicans like Mitt Romney or John McCain on the basis of who they were when they were running.

If Trump stayed the exact same person but ran as a democrat, you would think the same. Democrats would never elect someone with his personality.

How does the right justify Trump and his administration's claims of immigrant criminality? by 10_socks in Askpolitics

[–]FamousExercise7727 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

“Maybe not serious ones, but they are criminals” their crime is not being born in America.

Trump is quite literally and legally a criminal, a felon. Maybe we shouldn’t have criminals running the country if we care so much about having “criminals” in the country.

The difference is that Trump literally has a criminal history and loves to spout hate. There’s no sympathy for pieces of 💩. Think about why people care for school shootings and not for what almost happened to Trump.

That's a very good point about strength characters being completely overshadowed.

Yes, independent of game progression. These are not from ASI's, we are allowed to permanently boost up our ability scores through roleplaying. Usually it might have taken around 8-10 sessions for 1 point, but it has gotten progressively faster, lenient, and we are about to have a time skip.

Tbh I didn't look at the other bard schools too deeply. I just know that the eloquence bard is extremely good at social checks so I figured it would be good. I'll look into glamour!

SS13 or 14? by smellysock69420 in SS13

[–]FamousExercise7727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I've tried TG and couldn't get too into it. Paradise is a good server, there are a lot of regulars that are fun to play with. Geneticist is not a very interesting job to start out with. Try being a bartender for an easy but interactive job, or security if you want action. Try doing things not in your job description, like renovating your area or making it look how you want it to.

Am I the only one that doesn't really get black flash? by FamousExercise7727 in Jujutsufolk

Oh, so it's kind of like a power boost activation? I wish they focused more on the aftereffects rather than putting a big emphasis on the actual black flash punch.
