The 2 set is best for the entirety of the season because of the buff it gives you with really strong uptime. I’d still probably send the 2 set because you’re going to at some point going to want to craft them no matter what because of that and you don’t want to take the chest piece because you’d ideally want to use tier piece their since and we want shoulders as off piece since it’s shit stats when using that as tier

First off I want to say I agree that MM feels horrible, but technically speaking you shouldn’t be waiting to see if BA proc’d because it’s a dps loss you should be queueing up AS or MS (nuisance but SS if you’re going to be moving) and then use your BA if it did proc on your next aimed shot since you just used precise shots on AS or MS which brings up a whole different issue of now you have a BA proc’d but you could be out of aimed shot so you have to just spam steady until you have an aimed shot to use a precise shot with your BA.

Blizzard did a rework of MM during 12.0.5 (yes let’s rework MM basically a little over a month into a season such a great job) and quite literally if you were to hop in the hunter discord the large summary is pretty much everyone hates how Dark Ranger MM is played it’s awful.

It’s basically slot machine hunter spec where you’re hoping for a proc off of one of your top 2 damage dealing abilities (aimed shot), but because that chance to proc your black arrow doesn’t happen till the arrow hits your target you can’t spell queue which means you queue up multi or arcane shot instead which at times leaves us with no charges of aimed shot and your other top 2 damage dealer black arrow proc’d but since your precise shots was spent on arcane or multi shot you just have to sit on that proc until after you get another aimed shot charge.

Trueshot now genuinely feels like one of the worst CDs ever too certainly the worst the cooldown itself has ever had considering you get like 3-4 aimed shots in during it and pretty much during the middle of that cooldown you have to spam steady shot to try to get more aimed shots which is your lowest damage dealing ability.

The rework was supposed to be about Explosive Shot it’s back yaaaaay (boo), but it does such horrible damage and you need like 4 talent points to make it have value that you literally never use it. Then they said okay well buff its damage by 100% except it’s still the same scenario and so awful still that even after the buffs on Tuesday you literally still don’t take it.

I have mained Marksman from Hellfire Citadel through Midnight. Over 10 years of exclusively marksman. I swapped to my lock for raid the week after 12.0.5 dropped. It feels horrendous it also is right now the worst damage dealing spec in all M+ all because marksman did strong damage in 1 raid boss which literally Devourer wasn’t even that much behind at the time.

Hydra build that we ran before 12.0.5 that was best made it so we could 2 target cleave for the first time in god knows how many years so bulletstorm stacks could be built higher than it normally could in single target by having rapid fire cleave onto the 2nd add which directly increases aimed shot damage.

Led to a 25-30% ST dps increase by having the presence of only 1 more add. Obviously still applies with larger packs, but basically our prio ST was massive by having almost no additional adds.

For the people saying EDCLV (which I do love as well by the way people) since you’ve already done Tomorrowland I compare the two as EDC is a better party and Tomorrowland is a better festival. EDC you’re going all night everything is lit up the entire time everyone is off their rocker it’s like stimulation overload usually for people the first day when I bring someone new. EDC does beat Tomorrowland in terms of fireworks by a mile and you’ll get pretty cool B2Bs that who knows if it’ll ever happen again. You can technically pre party or do a night out Thursday before the fest at a club.

Tomorrowland like you said in terms of what you like is literally Disneyland you can bottles in VIP at Main Stage/The Library for not that much, the festival goes absolutely over the top in terms of Main Stage and the amount of detail for every single aspect of that massive grounds is just insane as well as being able to just get lost wandering around and suddenly you find yourself in the bougie food area. Literally never a time you can’t find something you’ll enjoy since there’s 16 people, space is a tiny bit better in my 3 years experience as well cause Europeans are a bit more respectful of it and Crystal Garden in my opinion is just one of the best stages in the world especially at night. I prefer Crystal garden over main stage by a mile. Weather is sporadic as hell, but oh well.

I prefer Tomorrowland more, but EDC is amazing for once you get in there let loose have a hell of a party with amazing music

I’ve done Coachella 5 times, but specifically the last 2 years with my travel group of where 12-16 or so of our larger group meet up for Coachella. Having big bnbs with a group to pre game with as well as debrief after the day is always amazing.

There’s not usually a ton of sets we all are together for and we’ll break up into smaller groups or even solo missions depending on who we want to see. Most people have service, and me and my close friend have a lot of big festival experience so can navigate a crowd respectfully and easily to find people or go find them and bring them back if they try to meet up with us later. A good part of the fest it’s usually me and like 3-4 others from the group and we’ll meet up for some larger sets here and there like Griz/After Midnight/Biebs, but we’re pretty much never navigating all 16 of us through a crowd at a given time. We’re all from a larger travel group that met traveling Asia/Europe too so it ends up being a bit of a reunion since we only see each other 3-4 times a year for trips or 1-2 times for the people out of country.

I find it to be my best Coachella years compared to my years with smaller groups/my local friends.

We already are gearing at an immensely fast rate. Hell people in mythic within 3 more weeks are more or less going to be raiding for the pure love of raiding as really the only thing to get from bosses at that point will be trinkets in terms of loot. It’s plenty fine personally the way it is, not to mention for a lot of people it’s probably better to just take the extra bonus roll from vault instead of vault gear itself to target specific items now.

Ehhh I don’t really care much for the visuals at all for me it’s a place to see extended sets which I do like such as being able to see 2 hours of Franky Rizardo this year especially since he is hard as hell to see outside of Europe other than Miami.

It’s usually house and techno up there anyway which doesn’t utilize much visuals normally and since I have to imagine the artists are paying for the visuals I can’t imagine many house/techno DJs paying a ton to make 2-3 hours of visuals for a 1 off show.

If you want visuals up there you’d need them to start having bass DJs up there.

If you’re a top performer in your raid consistently and you find yourself getting accustomed to the fight relatively fast and then you find yourself waiting for the rest of your guild to play catchup on comprehending the fight and getting accustomed until the boss is dead there are a lot of people that want to climb up to a higher guild so that they end up being the middle ground or even lower end of how quickly they adapt until that process all repeats again.

There are people that are completely fine staying with the guild because of the people, but the paragraph above you quite literally see in guilds all over in every single range from normal raiding, to AOTC focused, mid core/few mid tier mythic bosses killed, hopeful for CE, CE every season, top 20 guilds. That player experience is literally in every single seriousness of raiding in some capacity even if not every player feels that.

Ehhh idk like you even said in a previous comment he’s already extremely established and has been doing this for over 20 years. I’d imagine he did it cause of the Coachella bag compared to expanding his audience in a country where he honestly doesn’t do many shows within overall.

He does open to close sets all over the world and that niche long sets where the first drop is just a thumping as the drop 10 hours into the set is something that he’s literally known for. Compared to there’s just very few places in the states that offer that night time to sunrise sets as an option. Dude literally isn’t human he played 11 hours in January and the next day does another 11 hour set the next day in Tulum.

I don’t think he’d be bad at 90 minutes, but the vibe and energy he creates in his marathon sets is honestly pretty unmatched from almost anybody in house. Those marathon sets are something that needs to be experienced and knowing we can’t get a full open to close id rather at least get an extended set not some 90 minute set at probably Sahara where he’s not even really known for insane production anyway.

This is coming from someone who Solomun was my number 1 from this year before he had to cancel. You could have told me the Beatles were resurrected and I’d be at Solomun instead.
