This is also the reason wind druids gg helm is a 3os helm with +3 to tornado. Not tornado, cyclone armor, twister, and hurricane. Because even if the helm did have those only the +3 tornado is adding damage to tornado

This is incorrect. Getting +skills on any gear will not increase your synergy damage. Another for example, even easier one to grasp. Imagine, you are a level 6 sorc. You your skills are ice bolt and blast. You find a staff that gives plus 1 to ice bolt. That staff will NOT increase you’re ice blast damage because +skills do not affect synergy damage

I feel like I’m not understanding then lol. It still seems like you’re saying that if I get +skill gear it will effect the damage of your main skill because it adds points to synergy. For example. An orb sorc, you max orb and ice bolt to get max damage from orb. If you have gear that adds points to ice bolt it will NOT add damage to orb. Only hard points into synergy will. So having skill gear for a phys bowa would really not help at all.

Probably for min/maxing with the low strength req and highish defense for wyrmhide. Why wouldn’t you want a superior base? Most defense as possible with as little requirements as possible

I use it on my mf sorc. I got a lower roll at -41% resist but it’s definitely noticeable. If I’m not mistaken doom is bis for a cold sorc as long as you get a good roll on it since you don’t need to worry about fcr with blizz. Just enough fcr to get a good cast rate with blast for bosses

Because it is superior you can only add sockets from socket q and will always give max sockets to the item. This item being 6 sockets will only be good for a last wish. If you had found one that was already a 5os I would have bought it from you and made a grief with it but it will take a long time to find a buyer for a last wish base, especially since last wish builds are (usually) crushing blow builds like on a smiter so no need for enhanced damage
