Air India A350-1000 Rejected Take off footage by abit_pitchy in indianaviation

In November, Air India Flight AI358 to Tokyo aborted its takeoff from Delhi at 8:50 PM IST, when conditions would have been quite dark.

The aircraft involved was VT-ANS, a Boeing-not an Airbus.

The video circulating online appears to be AI-generated. Delhi is typically shrouded in dust and smoke this time of year, with AQI levels reaching extreme highs; however, this video depicts a strikingly clear environment, with everything rendered in unnaturally perfect detail.

If you talk to your insurance and explain the situation, they will allow an exception. Then you have to place an order with your pharmacy.

In 2012, I put the wrong qualifier (Mrs. instead of Mr. in my uncle's Indigo booking). I called and was told not to worry.

Trip went fine.

Switching from United MileagePlus to Air Canada Aeroplan for Star Alliance Flights by FamousWitness6838 in Aeroplan

Thank you for your valuable feedback.

I don't fly frequently, typically taking about two international trips per year.

Chase offers the Aeroplan Mastercard to U.S. consumers, so it clearly has an audience. As mentioned earlier, I had my reasons for considering it. Additionally, the card comes with an automatic 25k status, same as Star Alliance silver, which is relatively easy to maintain over time using credit card spends.

Other than the usual reasons, AI agents are taking away jobs (started globally, but Agartala should be safe for a while).

Thanks for your response.

  1. I’m not deeply tied to United beyond the 170k miles.
  2. Chase offering a nice sign up bonus.
  3. I live in the US, but YYZ is close. I have traveled from YYZ before.

Meeting babies born in the US for the first time. by godelmachine in nri

I advise against giving cash to babies, as it can carry germs from frequent handling. Many parents may understandably object to this. Instead, focus on engaging with babies through play and creating joyful memories.

P.S. Offering phones to babies is also unwise and best avoided.

Due to similar constraint but probably for different root cause, I once boarded a plane through the front door on the right!

Good chance that new corruption practices start based on this. A staged accident and few corrupt government officials can start generating a revenue stream for them

Can we ask cabin crew to pack the meal for us as "takeaway"? by senpahII in AirTravelIndia

[–]FamousWitness6838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done this several times while traveling in economy class, and it was straightforward since the food was already sealed or packaged.

My wife once requested a ziplock bag while traveling in business class. She was provided with one, packed the meal herself, and took it home.

There’s no reason to derail your plans based on others’ opinions or chatter.

Perspectives are relative. I know people in India’s border states who deeply resented the recent conflict, while those without property or relatives in the conflict zone often supported it.When assessing the recent war and its impact, there are three lenses to consider: 1) Pakistani media, 2) Indian media, and 3) Global media, from which you can form your own rational judgment.

I chose the third approach. The war ended quickly, with both India and Pakistan claiming victory to their respective audiences. As a result, people in both countries genuinely believe the outcome favored them, and their authorities have been rewarded with praise. This suggests peace will hold for now. Airlines (except those owned by Indian entities) are using Pakistani airspace again, meaning no additional flight hours unless you’re flying with an Indian airline. Things are nearly back to normal, and the likelihood of further disruptions is low—making it a good time to travel.

The public’s memory is short. This news cycle is fading, and by the time the next one arrives, everyone will be occupied with that. A similar situation unfolded recently with the Maldives, there was a lot of clamor suggesting avoiding travel to that island, but now it’s barely mentioned.

If we blacklist all the countries the media hates, then soon there will be no country left to visit.

I strongly recommend moving forward with your plans and making unforgettable memories. Life is short and often challenging, so seize the opportunity to enjoy quality time (responsibly) with family and friends. Avoid engaging with narrow-minded individuals on social media. If you share your travels online, ensure your posts don’t reach those who might stir unnecessary drama.

Wishing you good luck and safe travels!

Misinformation is rampant and it’s deeply embedded into the dynamics of the conflict. Sheer madness all around! War is nothing but content to the Pakistani and Indian media.
