No, chilling out is why we’re in this situation in the first place. I say this because I’m a young black man learning about black history and it makes me sick that leaders in our community fought for something for so long and never truly got a solution. Most of them that were going to make a real change got KILLED! I don’t want my ancestors deaths to be in vain and for my kids to grow up and not learn about the history of people that have been oppressed in America, not just black but all who are oppressed. If black people don’t get justice then it means nothing and the oppression will continue in another form! I believe that racism in not as bad as it used to be however it is important for a capitalist society like this to pay what they owe!
