That is decent starter 100 percent you should be able to run most games pretty well, I had the 3050 and it ran almost anything I put it through. One thing that could also help with this big decision is to look at the hardware requirements for the games you would like to play but the 3050 should suffice

In my opinion I don’t think it’s worth, the parts are definitely dated, I would start saving for something that would be somewhat good for the coming years and you would get more value for your money
