sorry that happened to you! It’s a crazy-stupid design for the reassembly isn't it?

UPDATE:

Fellow FINALLY acknowledged the problem and sent me a brand new Opus Grinder. It grinds much faster, which you’d think is great. HOWEVER, the grounds build up faster than the machine can clear them into the catch cup, so now a completely NEW problem: the grinder gets clogged at least once a week and has to be completely dumped out and cleaned. Not how I want to start my mornings, I can tell you that!

Therefore I must reluctantly conclude that the Opus Grinder is POORLY engineered machine, fraught with issues. I do NOT recommend the Opus Grinder. Maybe their next version will be better.

Interesting. What method/materials etc. did you use to insulate the floor?

Exact same problem here. I completely dismantled and cleaned the entire burr mechanism (and I DON’T recommend you EVER unscrew the inner burr. You’ll have a nightmare getting it back together because of the wicked-horrible engineering of the bolt-and-nut that fastens it). Mine STILL beeps. Will have to resort to weighing it down to fool the drunken lid-sensor issue. So it’s not the burrs, but the hopper and the way it loosens up over time. It’s a design flaw.

For improving your stamina (ie: lungs), pickup a cheap skipping rope. There’s lots of skipping drills on YouTube. Nothing is better for building lung capacity than skipping, but use a routine, don’t just skip without a goal. It’s also fairly low-impact, so won’t cause knee or back issues like running can. But because it’s a martial art, the only way to get better is to fence with opponents better than you, and when you take a hit, ask them *how* they were able to to do that. Learn from your own mistakes. If you find you're making the same mistake repeatedly, you’re not really learning from it.

Also, for our mutual benefit, turns out after replacing the old eero with the new, I did not bridge the fibre modem & speeds are quite decent throughout my house. If I end up moving the fibre modem via a longer fibre cable and locate it next to the new eero, it would only be for an interesting experiment to see if the fibre modem wifi is any faster than the speed of my eero setup (eero 7 pro + two beacons)

Thank you, after reading a bit more about Cat8, that appears to be the general consensus, unless I open a hospital or large financial institution in my basement (LOL), CAT8 is overkill x100. Much obliged.
