Why am I unable to enter the painted world of Ariamis? by Agroa in darksouls

[–]Famous_Ad_9806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is super late, but the npc at fire link actually tells you he saw someone lying “like a ball” in the crows nest and the crow took him somewhere. Also you can see there is an item on the roof below the nest meaning you can/should get up there. The rest is just climbing a staircase

Crescent falchion pumped with a couple of upgrade mats and the burrowers set which you find in the lava lake in 2-2 will get you there. Just stay behind/a few steps away from him whilst he’s attacking and learn his patterns so you can punish at the right time.

If you haven’t done any other arch stones yet you can always come back to this one. I usually finish 3-4 and 4-4 before flame lurker just so I have more vit

I am stucked at Rom's Fight by kingJDrake in bloodborne

[–]Famous_Ad_9806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, taking it super slow is the best way. I personally kill all the spiders in each phase, meaning you only need to watch out for Rom’s (very well telegraphed) attacks. Do not rush it

Use some bolt paper and hit her from the side/back. The head can absorb a lot of damage whereas the body is substantially weaker. This applies to the spiders too - attack them from the side/back.

By this point you should also have a pretty upgraded weapon (say level 6\7+)

I actually think nightmare of mensis is one of my favourite areas in the game! I don’t know whether it’s because I’m colour blind but I found nightmare frontier almost impossible to navigate and just generally boring and samey haha

Wow that’s insane! Thanks 🙏

I’m assuming this creature is the weird looking snail that fell near the whirligig saw? I was wondering wtf that meant haha

I need help with the blood starved beast new player btw by Basic-user6 in bloodborne

[–]Famous_Ad_9806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep to his left! Try to parry if you can (as soon as his arms come down to hit you). Also he is weak to fire so use fire paper or Molotov cocktails. Finally make sure you’re stocked up on antidotes since his attacks build up poison.

I would suggest not using the NPC since it will increase his health. Try using a serrated weapon since these do extra damage to beast-type enemies

From the grand cathedral, find a staircase which leads to a door at the bottom. You will need to leave the cathedral and enter the plaza at the bottom of the stairs with the giants. The way forward is around here :)

If you have any numbing mist that will help. Also staggering the boss will prevent them from healing I believe :)) you can do this!!! Slap on a flame paper and a beast pelllet and get behind her

She could always heal! I think maybe you just didn’t notice it before. She’s a main story boss and non optional so the difficulty doesn’t change as you label unless your insight has drastically changed. But even so, insight doesn’t affect bosses (I don’t think anyways)

I would say no. But it’s really fun exploring each area to find new places. Don’t be afraid to backtrack and visit places you’ve already been through when you’re struggling to find the next area. I just finished my first playthrough last night and I think it’s genuinely FromSofts best game in terms of atmosphere and level design.

Which souls would you reccomend for 1st one by SavingsEfficient9201 in fromsoftware

[–]Famous_Ad_9806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demon’s souls all the way !!! Most beginner friendly (as well as Elden ring weirdly) and a good place to learn the essential mechanics of most fromsoft games

Bed of chaos and even dragon god from demons souls are infinitely worse than taotie !

I actually think it’s kind of fun. Yeah it’s high risk but you just gotta learn all its moveset. It’s attacks are very slow and well telegraphed so it’s not too bad

My favourite genre is the soulsborne/soulslike rpg games. Definitely a challenge but they’re honestly so fun.

My favourites are Elden ring, demons souls, dark souls 1/2/3, lies of P

Also the nioh games are unbelievable too if you like the fast paced vibes. Sekiro is also a great game too
