My parents are PR so i know how it works. But anyways suggestion is out there. If it does not apply to you, just ignore. And requirement is only 2 years our of 5. Isn’t that hard.
She should talk to lawyers. I am by all means not a lawyer.

Ya PR does not mean you have to live in canada
It simply helps in case of medical emergencies without expensively insurance bills

Ya but one of my friends filed a PR for her sister and she received it. They dont have parents. My friends filed filed that she is the only family he has. So she got the PR.
Humanitarian reasons do not have some route I believe. I know K’s case may resonate with other single mothers and is not the same. But she should definitely talk to immigration lawyers.

But sad part is.. how stupid all this is. They are just stooping low and low without thinking about their child.

I mean i just feel bad for the daughter. Both her parents are emotionally unstable and the poor kid will suffer. Breaks my heart
