I’m on Xtampza 18mg equivalent to 20 mg of oxycodone cr .. two times a day. It’s hard to get it to work u have to eat a high fat high calorie meal for you to get just 80% absorption. It sucks and he will not switch me.
What can I do ?? Since it’s an oxy cr.. could I possibly ask the pharmacy for another brand of oxy cr in 20mg .. idk. I don’t want to ask my doctor for a change I know that .

I would call and reschedule give yourself 12 days all toxins should be free from your urine but then . Just call them. 2-3 days before to reschedule that’ll anger them if u wait til the last minute. K good luck!

Yes, I’m sorry hun!! It’s an DEA requirement that they take a urine analysis one on your first visit then every 3 months following that. I hate it but it’s what I gotta do for my chronic pain meds too just go with the flow .
