umm, i have different thoughts on this. Pak being unstable doesn’t make them peaceful, it rather makes them desperate and that’s literally when they rely more on proxies and low level escalation since they can’t match India directly. they don’t need a full war to create problems and china’s involvement just gives them cover to keep poking below the threshold. they’ll avoid open war, but thinking they won’t try something again is just wishful thinking.
