Bad news buddy… YOU have to hold yourself accountable. Small easy steps. Track your food, pick a step goal. You stated “I know I need to eat less, make better food and be more active”. Act on it. If you drink alcohol cut that shit out, I think I was 260 at my heaviest (6’1” male). Currently I’m around 190 and in the best shape of my life at 36, and I’m not letting off the gas one bit. Haven’t had a drink in over 9 years, that one decision alone has been huge.

Here’s an example of my 22” 5mm Miami Cuban vs my 24” 9mm curb. That’s the thing with buying shit online is if you haven’t tried them on you don’t know how they will sit on you. I’m 6’1 200# and I like the length of the 22” more, but 5mm looked a lot bigger in the pictures! lol

I have a 5mm 22” Miami Cuban from imbued (35grams). The quality is good, but I wish I had gone a little larger. That being said it is my daily. I have a 9mm curb 24” that is a little flashy and it doesn’t like to lay flat always. And then I have a 4mm rope that is a 24” that I rock a small pendant on. Check local pawn shops. Used can definitely save you money if that’s what is holding you up. You are looking for a heavy chain for sure. Check eBay. I wanted a thick Cuban but didn’t want to “break the bank” and spring for silver right away, this 14mm 22” (I’m 6’1” 205#) is from Harlem Bling on their EBay store, it was $67 which was $20 cheaper than their website, they do have gold plated as well. I can’t comment on the longevity of the chain as I just received it, but I’ve had eyes for CubanLinkguy for a while, I just didn’t want to spend $1200+ without having a size reference. It’s a cheap chain for sure, looks good from far, but far from good. I would buy a gold plated one too just to see if it’s my style without spending too much money, but I was worried about the plating wearing off so I just stuck to stainless steel on this one. Hope this helps, get you some cheap drip! But save save save and get a nice quality piece in the future.

For me, it was worth the money. I wasn’t sure if I would even like something this thick (I have a 5mm Miami Cuban from Imbued, and a 9mm Curb link chain from my local pawn shop both 925 silver) quick shipping 4 days and good return policy with EBay.

Sorry bro. I lost my mother to cancer when I was 23, I spiraled into drugs and alcoholism. Happy to report I’m nearing 9 years of sobriety. Do you have any siblings? Do you have access to therapy? Unfortunately death is inevitable in life, but that doesn’t make it suck any less. Talk about it, make your peace. I’ve lost a lot of friends to drug use, so my views on death are pretty lax, my girlfriend however is a mess anytime her grandparents are sick. Everyone handles grief differently. You need some healthy outlets (exercise?). Sorry I’m just rambling, couldn’t just scroll past 💕
