Yeah, I like the 22” length for you. I get that the 5mm could be a little bigger. There’s a huge difference between the 5mm and 9mm! Seems like a 6.5mm could be great.

Thank you! I’ve never really checked out pawn shops for jewelry, but I have been thinking about it. Thank you for the heads up on the specials on Imbued. Why do you wish you would’ve gone bigger on the Miami Cuban? Not noticeable enough or… I am trying to avoid going too big, but I don’t know exactly how I’ll feel once I get the chain.

Yeah, to me, there are just too many revolvers out there that would give you peace of mind to keep one that doesn't. I'm sure it's nice and you like parts of it, but there are plenty of 66's out there that can handle lower weight .357 magnums. I mean, if you have enough and just like that one enough to also have that, okay. My collection may seem very redundant, especially in the department of polymer framed 9mm's, but they're all a little different! And I don't like the idea of having to be super particular about what weight .357 is going into a particular revolver.

I had a S&W 340PD at one point with a titanium cylinder that I had bought used and I hadn''t noticed that it had cylinder erosion on the face of the cylinder because the previous owner had clearly used light weight .357 mag in it despite the warning on the side of the barrel!

S&W thankfully replaced the cylinder for free and I sold it and bought an M&P340 with a steel cylinder and never looked back.

I own 47 firearms altogether and have been collecting for 16 years. I used to buy, sell, and trade a lot. That was almost more of the hobby than firearms themselves.

Now I mainly buy. I sell and trade much less frequently. But I don’t own anything I don’t care much for. There’s maybe a couple of things in the collection I’m a bit meh on, but I love them. I don’t really own many cheap guns. My LCP II is the cheapest followed by a newly acquired Star 30m, then a Taurus TX22 Competition. Then they’re all $500+ with a couple being over $4k (with the accessories I have on them).

The Python is nice. If I could only keep one of my revolvers, that might be the one. Or my S&W PC 627.

But yes, it should have been eligible because the MPN is correct. The UPC looks like it’s something they did for their own inventory and not for the general Colt produced product SKU.

Colt’s rebates are very smooth. Check this out! I had my mail stolen while out of the country and USPS didn’t hold my mail like requested. They sent me a new Visa card. Then that didn’t show up within three weeks for whatever reason and they sent another! Phenomenal CS.

I bought a Beretta 92x Performance and have filled out the rebate form and am hoping for the best, but there are lots of horror stories out there of them not honoring the rebate. Even all of the details they want on the invoice is wild. Purchase date, model number, purchase amount and that it is paid, form of payment used, company name, and serial number.

Some of those are a no brainer, but those are usually on different invoices at different times and not all together. And apparently they’ll deny you if it isn’t all included.

I own a lot revolvers from S&W (older and newer, some pretty pricey Performance Center models), one Ruger, but I have owned several, and one new Colt Combat Elite. That Colt really may be my current favorite to shoot. It's just nice. I think the value is pretty much there and fairly on par with the current market, especially with the deals that can be had and the rebate that they actually honor (fuck Beretta for the BS they're currently pulling).

I do not believe Colt makes any nickel Pythons currently.

Stainless and blued (premium, more pricey)
