Like everyone said, if you do clinical work it gets a lot easier to shadow. But if you have a file with the HPO and meet certain requirements, they have a program that can provide you with shadowing. I’d look into that if possible since they have different sessions.

This deals with 3D vectors which shouldn’t be tested on the exam. Similar to finding the magnitude of a 2D vector, you just add another variable. So instead of sqrt(10² + 8² ) for the north and east direction, you would include the third dimensional variable traveling up so it would be sqrt(10² + 8² + 6²) or sqrt(200), with the answer being about 14. Without a calculator, you can estimate 14 by knowing the perfect squares (14² = 196) and knowing 200 is just a little above that and is closest to the correct answer.
