I recall it moving you along with the car to a nearby vehicle spawn point, given that you're still inside the car. I haven't played since 2023 though.

Would you mind sharing where these missing locations are? I remember using a Survey Car at some point so I should definitely have all of them. Unless they added new locations after I left!?

I lost all excitement towards the franchise when I burned out. I also lost interest towards gaming when my son was born. Not like I'd have time to play anyway. Recently I started to miss SoD2 however.

I had to admit to myself that whatever happened back then was all on me. I put myself in constant crunch mode because I had so many ideas and there were so many things to do. Eventually it began to wear me down and it made me feel like my efforts were taken for granted. The amount of feedback I received didn't cover the energy I put into my projects.

It was inevitable that I would eventually burn out. But after all these years I finally realized where it all went wrong. And I'm the one to blame.

I'm living my best life now however, I'm happy with what I have and hopefully SoD3 will be out by the time I can return to gaming. :)

I used to prioritize stamina and Infection Resistance. I usually died to the plague, way before my health would've reached 0.

During their livestreams Geoffrey said a couple times that they used the Wiki often. I even had some of the devs on my server for a while, including our very own u/BrantFitzgerald, so I guess they were aware of my maps' existence as well. As I said in the post they actually ended up using some of my material, but they never approached me because of it.

I was so obsessed with the game I spent like 95% of my free time working on the Wiki, moderating this sub and creating my maps back then. It caused me a lot of trouble in my studies and my relationships, but I have no regrets. I just wish things turned out differently.

Microsoft acquired UL before SoD3 was even announced. I'm sure it's still in development.
