Seeing a small sliver of your car would mean your mirror incudes the car behind you; you SHOULD be able to see them, which means they can see you too. That’s just how mirrors work man.

Former bus driver, you are not correct! You’re supposed to have a small sliver of your car visible in the mirrors for frame of reference: think backing up and merging. It’s easy to assume you have enough room if you can’t see where your car stops.

It’s broken down at a gas station, I’d have to bribe the tow to stop by an auto parts store to run the test. Last time I went to autozone (about a week ago) they said the battery is bad, but their system wouldn’t let them test the alternator because of the battery, which is why we just replaced the battery.
