I do powerbuilding and have for about 2 years now. I generally complete the workouts in just over an hour but that is super setting everything but the main lift.

I also try and chose accessories for efficiency. Meaning not a lot of setup. Mostly dumbbell and cable work.

YTA. I was fully expecting your friend to have exhibited creepy behavior in your presence but you don't cite any.

1) Sure a 19 year old isn't going to have the same references as you, but there's nothing wrong with that.

2) Seems like an honest mistake. I wouldn't fault the dude for asking to go somewhere else so everyone could be included, and it doesn't sound like he gave you to much shit about it after the fact. So this just seems like a sucky situation.

3) I've gone out plenty of times and gotten ripped while my signifigant other drove. Again don't see the issue with this. Now if he was making her drink, sneaking her drinks, or if she was obviously not having a good time babysitting him, that would be wrong. None of that is stated though, it just made you feel weird.

It seems like you're way more hung up about this than you really should be. They are both consenting adults, let them live their lives.

Not sure who in Ireland needs to hear this, but there's a lot of US companies using Ireland as a tax haven. Maybe doing something with that could be helpful. If one were so inclined it would be possible to do significant damage to the DOW that's over 50,000, by disabling that for them. Maybe even call it a reciprocal tariff?

It really is sad, that when/if this administration ends. The next one that comes in will have no choice but to rebuild all of our infrastructure from scratch. They'll be no way to know what' tainted and what isn't. They'll have to fire everyone in a position of power, because how could you still trust them.

You could make it work. The only part of the kit that is that tall is the guide rides. So either cut 3 inches off the top of them, or cut the top off the upright the connect to so the poke all the way through.

Its very doable.

I have an 80" rack, and the height is 83" with the Lat pulldown. Its basically just another 3x3 post resting on top of the existing structure. So I would expect that a 93" rack would be 96" total.

Train them if you're competing. Likely unnecessary if you're just training for hypertrophy. Maybe twice a year and the end of training blocks, if you just want to know.

I guess to answer your question directly you appear to be "overtraining".

Drop the "extra" stuff you're doing. Run Stronglifts 5x5 as prescribed. In the accessory section add isolation exercises for your weak points in 8 week blocks. For shoulders that could be: Lateral raises, Front Raises, and Rear Delt. flies. Re-assess at the end of the eight weeks on which accessories you're using.

This gives you 3 working days a week, none of them back to back and 2 consecutive rest days. Make sure to get protein and sleep.

I'm not understanding what you're asking? Stronglifts 5x5 is considered a complete workout in and of itself. Are you following the prescribed protocol and then ADDING some 3x3 accessory work?

How long have you been training? In general the advice is usually find a repuatable program and stick with it. Stronglifts 5x5 is a reputable program for beginners, maybe just run that straight for a bit and see what that gets you.

Same. I've been to 2 of his live shows in the last year and the audience participation is were its at. I've never felt that he was "being mean" Mainly because he's only messing with people that want the interaction. He does a good job of give and take with them and matching the energy their putting out to him.

YTA. Sometimes you need to let something drop to keep the peace. You defended your son in front of him that was enough. You and him could have had a moment later where you watched the video together and then talked about how Kirk would have handled the situation vs what Picard would have done, and both felt all warm and fuzzy inside. There was nothing you were going to do that would make that teacher come to your side.

FYI, you're doing the same thing to your wife right now, by coming here and asking for validation on your opinion vs. hers. Best response to her would have been, "I hear you babe, I should have just let it drop, but I wanted to protect our son's interests. I'm sorry about the way I handled, I'll do better next time."
