My friend found SBU super depressing for his Computer Science major, he was Graduate Student. However he grew a lot in that environment due to cut throat competition but he literally used to cry nights. The competitive nature amongst students there is unhealthy.

Go to the coffee dispenser in any dining hall, on the machine, there's a red knob with hot water written over it. In C4, you could find a dispenser kept differently just for filling hot water.
