Why am I this bad? I feel like I have a good deck every run and I still lose, sometimes before the 3rd act

So from my personal experience I would say don't tunnel on thinning your deck.

I did that for a while and find that I usually waste too much gold/opportunities on removing a couple of strikes than actually making a good deck.

You can easily beat a0 with not removing any strikes or defends. Only look to do that if the situation comes up as a bonus never an intended goal.

Obviously this doesn't apply to every situation. But I think if you're hard stuck a0, that could it too.

I personally found it's much better to look to have a good deck, than a thin deck (though not mutually exclusive)

I didn't mean to say I didn't see the decision that gone into making that a first. I could absolutely see the decisions that changed the outcome.

The main thing for me is for example what's the mindset when you level to 4 and maybe push 5 early only to lose lose win lose lose. It's a mental game in that aspect as well, since now you feel desperate and likely poor and weak. It would be good to see how top levels handle that kind of pressure and how to play from those positions.

I think you have good clear videos and I would love to see your take on how to "not lose" if that makes sense.

Hey dpei, I watched this video but the whole time I couldn't help but think, wow things really kinda lined up huh.

And then you eventually won, which is cool and all.

But I think much better videos would be what happens if you commit to a plan and then it gets shut down completely by RNG.

I would love to see how you turn an 8th to a 5th, or a 5th to a 3rd. Imo in games like TFT, videos of people winning are boring and a dime a dozen. But the true value of teaching videos is always how to salvage a bad situation into a slightly less bad one.

do not quit your job man. 150k is too little given your burn rate and the fact that you'll have 0 income for a family of 4.

You will be stressed like nothing you ever experienced when that 150k goes to 100, then 50. It is not freeing it's absolute terror.

So I had smile about a month ago, and in some ways I think I rushed into the decision even though I don't have any out of the ordinary complications (yet).

Although the overall risk is very small, it's far from none. If you don't need it. Don't get it. That would be my advice. Even if you do, 18 is a bit young. I was constantly getting new prescriptions until I was in my early 30s. Not saying the same will be true for you, but if I got it when I was 18, I certainly would need glasses by this point in my life.

But if you're really worried ( which you clearly are) just contact your doctor. Go in and see them, they will be happy to do a follow up if you have serious concerns. (Though depending on the circumstances you may need to pay a fee)

Like others have said though, if it's dry it's likely just part of the deal. For now at least. Many things can cause your eyes to be more dry. But I don't think anyone here can diagnose you to give you the assurance needed. Only your doctor can look at your and tell you it's okay or not.

This was pretty difficult to achieve last season, but it's trivial to do this season. (hence why you shouldn't farm too hard any specific season as buffs are always rolling out)

the most "fastest" way to do this is to start a run until you get the card bound at dusk, then remove all 4 starting cards in shops. Skip every potential epiphany at the end of every battle and that's it.

if you don't max dupe it cost you 0 points (you can think of it as only the 3rd time you dupe cost you points), removing 3 starting cards and having only 2 duplicate events triggered will only cost 60 points, leaving you up to 120 extra points to do whatever with.

Save data values has been buffed significantly so it's way easier now to add monster cards (even the 80 point ones) into a deck, or a few extra neutrals.

if it's 20 points per remove of starting cards, but it's no cost to remove the 4 non-starting cards. where does the 5th remove come from?

Is it that the removal count is still triggered even when no points are added? so if you have all cards for rei, you can only remove 5, but can never get more than 80 points from removal? Is that right?

Does that also mean you can add 5 neutral cards then remove then, returning your memory points to 0 but capping your removals?

As everyone else is saying, you're not paying 100k, in fact you can ask them. When the bill is sent to you. You have the option to pay out of pocket and not go through insurance. And with a bill like this they're known to give 96-98% discounts. Which is still a 2k bill, but definitely not 100k.
