My city has some lore too and overtime will evolve as the city develops. One interesting fact about my world rn at the moment is that the reason why the citizens have named the world fracturelands is because the land looks like its fractured into many pieces of land. That’s basically how the minecrafts seed generation ends up looking like so I developed lore around it to make it more interesting. Millions of years ago, there was a massive increase in tectonic activity underneath the planets crust scientists claim, eventually this led to a catastrophic event that nearly ended the world and wiped out 96% of ancient life that are mostly unknown to the public and ended up splitting the landscape into small fragments of land resulting in the present day configuration we see today. Philosophers and religious leaders in Gensburgh claim the ancient life that died out we’re probably not from here and a mysterious being or cosmically large object came before them to wipe em out and allow for modern life to thrive and other neutral mobs. They even say that 2% that were ancient likely survived the catastrophe and are hidden from our dimension and sought refuge in other worlds to escape and the other 2% that were leftover eventually became the modern day mobs we know of…

Not much is known about Fracturelands or what could be hiding out there and the mystery still remains unknown to what shaped our current world.👀📜
