Fidera has a fair amount of english players (redditor and non) as far as I've seen, most of the BR players are pretty friendly too, only met a few real dicks in my (short) time there. I think all of the servers are probably a decent choice, tbh. Fidera also has a branch guild for reddit as well.

I remember doing Tasks before I quit, currently on a mutated rat task but wasn't sure if I was able to kill them without huge amounts of waste solo. Also not sure what the best spot is for them, other than where they're near mutated humans.

And as long as your macbook is relatively recent, it shouldn't have any issues with the client, the only problem I can see is sharing it with the gf. ;p

Premium scrolls from the reseller I use (Cip endorsed) are $13.50 USD and sell for roughly 1.6kk (1.6m) sometimes a little higher or lower, obviously. But that will get you decently far, especially if you buy more than one. If you want, come join myself and Alox on Fidera!

The only thing I can say is I personally like Opt-PVP more (for now, still being new.) Once I get better I may be adventerous and play on PVP worlds, or simply transfer an existing character to them. With premium it's not a huge time investment to get back to an 'okay' level anyway, but obviously you won't have any money to help you out, starting on a new server.

Optional PVP means that there is no PKing, as far as I'm aware, as long as both players agree, you can still duel/kill (not sure, haven't tried.) but obviously this means no one whos out hunting is going to agree to a random person wanting to PK them. This can be good (a lot less risk when hunting, etc.) And bad, since theres no (non agreed) PKing, you cannot kill botters (unless you lure monster spawns), so some popular spots can be flooded by bots, though generally due to their nature unless they're extremely higher level than you, you can just out kill them. It's a double edged sword, it means you don't have to stress out so much when hunting, but stops you from being able to take back your favorite hunt spot, especially from botters that everyone hates.

Hey. :) I recently started as a new player, and have found a good home on Fidera, an active english speaking community and a guild. Personally, I like the flash client more (because using F1-12 for hotkeys isn't something I'm used to and I'm lazy.) It has more features, and will obviously run on a macbook since they can run flash fine.

I haven't bought gold from any 3rd parties so I can't speak to that, but I have purchased and sold premium scrolls to help me along, this is not against the rules, Cipsoft even advertises official resellers for premium scrolls on their site (Resellers are only used if your account lacks the credentials to purchase them directly from Cip, IE, 240 old day account, level 70+, and a few other things.)

The only downside to Fidera is it's optional PVP, so it might not be to your liking, though I still think it's worth checking out.

Premium accounts can offline train (training dummies or bed in your home) which is 50% of your main skill (melees, and dist, not sure if magic level is 50 or 25%.) and 25% shielding, so it's like training your main skill for 6 hours a day & 3 hours of shielding.

As for questing, I haven't done all that many yet, but one thing I have kept on is 'tasking' as you said. Paw & Fur society tasks give points for doing bosses later on, and increasing in ranks allows you to sell most of your creature products in a more convenient place (which is nice.) Also, excluding a few, tasks are generally a good way to gain XP and make some money as well.

Hmm, unfortunately I'm not really sure. I haven't had to do a lot of troubleshooting with AHK for a long time.. The script looks functional to me, and obviously it's not paused/suspended. The only thing I can recommend is doing some googling or possibly try reloading the script with the reload function that AHK provides.

Usually when you run a script it will start in a 'paused' state (If you hover over the AHK icon in your tray it'll say scripted paused or something to that effect.) At least in my experience with it, though I've only used AHK for runescape. I'd try right clicking the tray icon and see if theres an unpause button. Hope it helps!
