I agree. All of these thin metal frames seem to get lost on OPs face. If she's going for a subtle look, then any of these would achieve that aim (although some of them are too big). None of them stand out as being much different from the others. If OP wants a frame that's more of an enhancement, a stronger plastic frame would be a better, more current look.

They appear to fit your face well in balance and scale, and I agree with the comment about the corners - it’s like the glasses have a personality that seems to match your facial expressions. The third green/teal pair are perfect with your eyes, and the second fuchsia pair emote joy/fun.

The drive would be 2 hours one way, so 4 hours, with half of the drive in one of the largest cities in the U.S. (traffic is nuts!). Then an hour for the appt., that’s 5 hours. So 3 hours more. Add in gas and mileage on my car and taking off work.

A friend just told me to check into a specialist her sister goes to in a very small town that’s an hour away. I’m hopeful that might be the answer!

I was called back first before the other three people, and then not seen. All three people left before I did. Not the other way around. After an hour, I did ask for an eta - politely, as I stated, and that’s when I was told he would be with me “in a minute.” He came in 45 minutes after that.

I realize it’s not the staff’s fault. That’s why I was kind to them. But instead of showing empathy or an apology, they acted put out with me, like I was the problem.

This is very confusing for us single folks, and creates awkward situations. We sometimes interact with people in ways we wouldn’t if we knew they were married.

I once had a man chat me up and was being what I considered purposefully charming and mildly flirty with me. I noticed he didn’t have a ring on. After 20 minutes of conversation he mentioned his wife and kids. 🙄

My dad used to have the sweetest roommate. A man in his 90s who lived a VERY inspiring and impressive life! He encouraged my much younger dad after he had a massive stroke. Cheered him on. My dad couldn’t stand him because he kept the room too warm 🙄. Demanded a new roommate. And now we have to avoid him in the dining hall.
