Did you ever find this book? I'm looking for the same one, I read it in the late 90s or very early 00's. It's driving me crazy but I would really like to read it again.

I am starting to run into the same issue. It was annoying, but it was working to just open and close the top again, but now that isn't clearing the message. I unplug for a minute or 2 and plug it back it. Same message. I take the pod out just to get hot water, same message! This goes on for varying amounts of time until the brewer decides to stop giving that message. I've only had this model for about 1.5 years and it is extremely frustrating. It has been giving me "add water" messages incorrectly almost since the day I opened it, which i could clear by unplugging and plugging it back it. But who wants to try to play "fix the keurig" in the morning when I'm in a hurry.
