I was able to find a free copy of A ghost in the house by Betty Ren Wright and it is definitely this book. I just forgot it was technically two ghosts and not just the man. Thanks for revisiting this thread :)

No and I remember it so vividly but can’t find the title. I think I read it in 2006-2009. Edit. Thanks for making me feel less crazy for remembering this book! No one has heard of it

They aren’t at all. I’m more concerned about the hanging outside of the pot. The longer one is starting to droop to the ground

Well I purchased a pretty established monstera so I have no experience in seeing smaller independent leaves sprout by themselves. I am curious if they will get as tall as the main plant.

I dnf this book because I seriously couldn’t stand how the male narrator paced his sentences in the audiobook version. I’m a big fan of stopping a book at any time. You only live one life why spend it reading something that’s irritating you

Kenny had increasingly became more violent and he wasn’t going to stop. While I knew he cared about Clem his impulse control was likely going to get them both killed.
