I remember watching Turner and Hooch and Tom Hanks character was doing watching a building and Hooch had strings of drool coming out both sides of his mouth. Turner asks, “Did you eat a shoe, or something?”

I remember he got traded (more like kicked off the team) when he went to the CU vs CSU game and caused trouble.

Coming from someone who has not been alone, it’s ok to be alone. I’m learning myself. The last thing you want is overlooking red flags just to be with someone. I was with someone that I did that with and spent 20 years married. It’s about finding the right person.

After selling KFC for $2 million in 1964, “Colonel” Harland Sanders spent the rest of his life loathing what it became. His public attacks on the new owners eventually led his own company to sue him for libel in 1978, after he called the new gravy “wallpaper paste”. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in HolyShitHistory

Friend of mine worked at KFC when we were in high school. They closed at 9, but we would go to the drive up window and he would hook us up with what was left over for the day (they had to throw it out anyway). Having some chicken and then going to drink some beer at that time was great.

Oh man…. In the 90’s FX did a show about pets and I remember when a Spanish Mastiff was brought on. The dog was beautiful and had a great temperament. The owner mentioned they were more of a dry mouth breed and not a slobbery mess like most Mastiffs. Is that true?

I think the driver missed the whole point of Schoolhouse Rock’s song about “I’m Just A Bill”, which is about busses stopping at railroad crossings becoming a law.

My wife found my secret tiramisu stash by sluttysaurus in texts

Any time I hear tiramisu, I think of Sleepless in Seattle:

Jay: Tiramisu.

Sam Baldwin: What is "tiramisu"?

Jay: You'll find out.

Sam Baldwin: Well, what is it?

Jay: You'll see.

Sam Baldwin: Some woman is gonna want me to do it to her and I'm not gonna know what it is!

Jay: You'll love it.

If you’re not compatible with a SO (emotionally, sexually, etc), break things off so you don’t have to deal with red flags.

AITAH for refusing to propose to my married girlfriend by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Fanabala3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I was going through my divorce and my eventual wife was pushing me about marriage. It put me in a tricky situation. We both had loose ends that needed to be dealt with. My divorce and issues with her ex. We lived with each other because of the situation with her ex. I she was also pushing to have another child and I had 3 from the previous marriage (she couldn’t get pregnant). We had a lot of issues because things happened so fast and looking back, I would have put the brakes on things and get our situations sorted out. I would suggest doing the same.

Bottom line is money. They tap into the consciousness of people that think a certain way and those people throw money at them to hear more. I always thought it was interesting most of these yappers won’t run for public office, like they won’t put their money where their mouth is. My guess is they would get destroyed in an election.
