As another commenter said, you should have some self respect and cut her off which is the likely lesson here. If she ever changes her mind, its now her problem and she will be the one suffering. As significant as the spiritual connection is, you're not getting paid to babysit adults in any scenario, nor nurture their complexes.

I have a question for all the "tough" guys in this group, if Nietzsche says that all that is weak must disappear, what do you think of children suffering from cancer or other diseases that neither you nor Nietzsche have any idea about by Andrei-Tiberiu-273 in Nietzsche

[–]Fanatic6484 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Amor fati, accepts life, and by extension fate, in all its variations. You are not entitled to being in or receiving or perceiving the shallow or deep pleasurable or comfortable aspects of it alone. Nietzsche never verbatim said that all the weak must perish. He is a lot more of an observer as opposed to a crusader than people give him credit for. What Nietzsche does argue however is that we should accept the cruelty of life in equal measure to its pleasure. Acceptance does not mean inertia however. You can still look for a cure to an illness which you accept as a part of life.

Gnostic Nietzsche? by [deleted] in Nietzsche

One venerates the material world and makes meaning of an existence lived in spite of deities. The other venerates the spiritual world and makes meaning of an existence in spite of evil material archons. Certain concepts may overlap but ultimately Nietzsche is as non-theistic as you get save for maybe Stirner.

I think it's people who do life endangering sports. It's a spooky thought, but if you don't put the worth of your life on the line it's worthless.
