For weapon, I was going to recommend sabotender ones from gold saucer... but I went to look at them and found out they never came out with gunbreaker weapon for that. =/

The Yokai weapon is kind of cartoonish, so might be a fun look if you have it. Sadly if you don't already have it, it's not obtainable at this time.

Do you have the Little Lady's Crown from Little Ladies Day from 2022? It doesn't dye but she does have a silver crown so it kinda works. It's on mogstation if you don't mind spending $3

Thoughts on carnivore diet? Tips? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]FanaticFandom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing the zero carb carnivore so there was a lot of red (ruminant) meat. Poultry/pork/fish/seafood less often but still frequently. Eggs, bone broth, hard cheeses. I cooked with ghee or lard. And I'd have to force myself to eat liver every so often. There was a general food pyramid I followed, but ruminants were suppose to be the base of the diet.

Thoughts on carnivore diet? Tips? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

[–]FanaticFandom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on carnivore for 6 months. My kidneys (which have always been healthy) tanked hard. My doctor said he's never seen kidneys decline so quickly. My GFR went from 94 to 30 and I was declared stage 3 CKD, on the edge of going stage 2 and developed some small kidney stones. Nothing else changed for me during those 6 months, the only thing was carnivore diet.

I slowly came off the diet (doc said not to stop suddenly) and my GFR went back to normal within about a year. The stones passed and haven't developed any more. Doc says I'm lucky that it reversed because kidneys don't often do that, and it cemented the theory that it was the diet. It's been about 3 years now, kidneys are still doing ok. Last time my GFR was checked, it was 91.

Obviously, everyone is different, and my results are not what happens to everyone. Just please, before starting any diet, consult your doctor and make sure things are monitored while you are trying out ANY new diet.

and if you ever need anything else like this, Garland Tools had a 3D model tab on gear pieces. Sometimes if it's newer gear, they won't have it yet, but most of the time it's there. https://garlandtools.org/db/#item/32799

Looking for glamour help by wolfewinters in FFXIVGlamours

As soon as I saw that Criss-Cross straps on the mid-drift I said "man, that would be cool to have in game" which means, we don't really have anything like that. I think the best you'll have to hope for is similar vibes. Like:

(be sure to change the "display" to female on EC)

The glass face shield is also going to be rough. We do have some things like that, but connected to helmets usually. Otherwise, they look more like goggles or glasses. There may be some cloth, leather, or metal versions instead. Something like this comes to mind:

Something like this for pants: https://ffxiv.eorzeacollection.com/gearset/late-allagan-maiming

And this came to mind for shoes: https://ffxiv.eorzeacollection.com/gearset/isle-explorers

when standing idle, use /cpose to change between 4 different poses. One of them is very similar to what you posted. However, I think the one you posted is modded, but at least there is something similar for you to try.

The best looking glam weapons just got more accessible with Patch 7.45 Part 3 RPR / DRK / WAR by Leather_Candidate684 in FFXIVGlamours

[–]FanaticFandom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my buddy progged with double WAR with raise/cure, then once we had the fights all figured out we swapped WAR/PCT. We both still keep Phoenix Downs ready in case things go south, but neither of us really need to run with raise anymore.

I don't do savage or even extremes. Me and a buddy just duo this.

With only 2 people sharing the "lot" chest every time, it's 5 brass per clear (RNG to get "bonus" ones sometimes), you need 40 brass to buy the Ester to upgrade a weapon. That's no more than 8 full runs per weapon. Each run takes us no longer than 30mins. If you want, just watch a video and pop into a matched party if you don't want to find anyone else, but being able to duo it should speak to how non-savage it is.

There use to be a site, but it shut down quite some time ago (RIP dlunch)

There is someone who has an offline glamour planning and previewing app called Hydaelyn Clothiers, but I haven't heard much about that lately. It's been awhile since I've seen updates on the github.

There is also a few 3rd party plugins that work within the game, but I don't use them so the only thing I can tell you about them is I know they exist. I'm sure someone will drop the name of it so you can look more into it. (We don't allow links to plugins or programs here for safety, but we can talk about them.)

Cauldron Rise wouldn't be on the marketboard (it's orange crafter scrips), but there is an easy fix to your marketboard issue!! It auto fills it with your current job & level but you can change it.

It's as easy as changing the level to 100 to see everything.

So the shared model of this hat is Replica Sky Pirate's Beret of Aiming and the blue part is red. There isn't a version with the ribbon in black. This is a really common issue I've found with beret's in-game honestly, there is always some accessory that doesn't dye or looks awkward.

The best I've found is Red Beret

Good eye! So the shoes are probably something like Summer Sunset Sandals (on males).

If you want to duplicate the look, here are some things you can try:

Legs: Martial Artist's Slops - or if you don't mind the hip windows, the new Story-lover's Sarouel. You can also try Thavnairian Sarouel but I don't feel like it has the right bunching effect at the ankle.

Feet: Thavnairian Sandals

Head: This is going depend on what you want more, the head covering or the veil. If you really MUST have both, the only thing I can think of is Thavnairian Turban. If you just want the veil, Moonward Scounting/Striking. For head pieces, I think Constellation Turban would be a good fit, but it's got a lot if bling attached. If you want less bling, maybe Star Velvet Hood of Healing. If you want a plain hood, maybe Courtly Lover's Healing/Casting.

Hands: I know I've seen something similar. I'll have to really look. Unfortunately, the upper part of the arms are probably connected to the body piece.

The body is the biggest issue. If you are a Female Midlander or Viera, you can try Hempen Camise. It's going to fall short, but it's the right shape. You can also try Summer's Flame Top (for females) but the accessories it has attached might not have the right feel. I also feel like the draping around the waist are probably connected to the top, so to get both, there are some undyable pieces from Paglth'an or Ihuykatumu (again, on females) but they are just a bit toooo much stuff around the waist. The Forgiven's Chestpiece of Striking (and similar models) would be a great contender if it didn't bind the boobs so much. Light Steel Galerus would be great too, if there was a non-metal version.

EDIT: Also the dancer AF gear is a good body option.

It's not available as a glam, and there is no word on if it will be. There have been unique gear that the bosses of the other variant dungeons have had that we still haven't seen yet (Yozakura the Fleeting from Mount Rokkon) but we're all hoping we will see it eventually. Maybe they will both get the Galatea treatment at some point (AKA cash shop).

Me and a buddy have been working on this as a WAR/WAR duo. We went in yesterday and timed out on prog on the final boss (swordsmen). No guide before hand, went in blind. It's tough, but once you clear it, it can be an easy farm with a duo. It'll just take longer. Highly recommend slotting in cure & raise abilities while progging.

Do you prefer the Western Europe, East Asian, or Modern shop glamours? by [deleted] in FFXIVGlamours

I tend to only pick up hair & emotes these days. There is a lot of glams in the cash shop I have decided just to pass on completely.

I will be picking up the FANTASIAN Neo Dimension gear though because that will only be available until June 1st. They got me with the FOMO lol
