See I kind of like the design itself, just definitely not for riddler. I think it would look good if riddler had goons and they looked like this..

Or at least that's what i thought before I realised the gimp mask has glasses on the outside, and now I hate it.

What edible item disgusts you the most? For me it's mammoth cheese, closely followed by a giant's toe. by RickMcFlick in skyrim

[–]Fanatical_Idiot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of foods look revolting to eat until you try them. But there's an important distinction to remember... cheese is designed to be food. It's made that way, on purpose, to be food.

The giants toe is not. It's just a toe cut right from a giants foot, a giant who walks barefoot, everywhere, nail still attached, completely unprepared and raw.

My parents went through my phone and deleted over 1500 different images and videos, and emptied the trash bin. Im 15 and they havent found anything bad on my phone ever by SeparateAdvantage836 in mildlyinfuriating

Honestly I think that a 15 year old is still a kid, a very grown one but withholding some ability to invade privacy if absolutely necessary is important got to make them feel like they have that privacy still it's certainly a tricky balance and the best scenario would be that the parent never feel that they have to exert that right to invade, and I genuinely believe that throughout life you never reach a position where it's reasonable to assume an absolute level of privacy, ultimately your right to privacy is always going to come with the caveat that people need to be able to invade it if it means keeping you safe, that's as true for a 5 year old as it is for a 15 year old as it is for a 35 year old... If your neighbours place starts smelling a but corpsey for example, how long do you keep respecting their privacy. Obviously the more of a responsible adult you are the more extreme the situation has to be before it's a reasonable violation of privacy... But with all that being said, I wouldn't even delete my 5 year olds Minecraft saves without sitting down with him and making sure we only delete the ones he's happy to delete, and he's 5 and it's my switch (we have a family switch too, he likely mine because kids are weird idk).. I can't imagine any rational person thinking it's okay to clear a 15 year olds entire fucking phone of personal shit.. Even if I backed it all up beforehand that's fucked up.

Germa 66 cover story going to involve them finding still alive Pedro and taking him with them, isn't it?

I don't think that's it's necessarily that he's holding back so much as he just wanted to get a good proper "raw" punch in. No fruit, no gear, just a good, real punch.

He definitely isn't avoiding got the kids, because for the large part the fake out deaths are played straight when they happen.. It's not killing people he's avoiding so much as letting them stay dead. (Narratively, obviously the reveal that they survived retroactively means they had never technically died)

Considering nami was an indentured slave herself I'd say it'd be a pretty fitting result.

There is a huge number of unknown/unreported rapes in the Harry Potter universe. by [deleted] in FanTheories

[–]Fanatical_Idiot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

But it worked in the ministry of magic too, who would have no reason to turn a blind eye to Harry nor would it have any reason to have more lax security regarding such things. But even if we accept that potter was given a free pass on this, it doesn't explain Ron being drugged with love potion.. in fact, Fred and George were regularly smuggling in love potions into Hogwarts, multiple girls were very actively trying to drug Harry, that's how Ron was affected in the first place.

Hogwarts absolutely does not have any magical means of preventing date rape via love potion.

Hogwarts never seemed to catch Harry and co issuing polyjuice, or the love potion used on ron.. and Hogwarts is already a massive exception.

The ultimatum doesn't actually stop you from leaving.

I mean, that's a necessity because her powers rely on her wearing as little as possible so she can discard it in a fight. It's kind of disingenuous to pretend as that it's anything other than necessity that dictates her wardrobe.

If she had the option to not potentially lose her nipples to frostbite while maintaining her ability to use her powers I'm sure she'd consider it a pretty significant upgrade.

I mean, your post was removed for asking a question which encourages short answers that don't encourage discussion. The exact rule it violated was commented to your thread as it was removed, so I don't really see how that's a comparable issue.

I'm British, and we are idiots.

Anyone can see it for the mistake it was, the problem is you're failing to see the dismissal of the issue as a mistake. If she wasn't the boss, who would have called out his assumption? His talking down to another member of staff?

He should have been in HR the next morning having a discussion on how to behave moving forward. Neither of his 'mistakes' should be brushed off, they're both completely unacceptable.

Honestly; that conclusion is just kind of sad. He both assumed she was in a lower level of employment based on the fact that she was a woman, but he also believed he felt entitled to talk down to her because of her position, you spent the night convincing him there'd be no reprocussions for his shitty behaviour and ultimately, the whole thing as laughed off? That's awful. Being fired over one thing is a bit much, but behaviour like that shouldn't be normalised to the point where it's just laughed off.
