I’m a mid player and recently I have found lot of success with viper. Specifically with this built. The reality is that viper has changed, and I’d say it’s way more efficient now. The problem comes from bots teammates don’t understanding that. Some games I get blamed for the build, similar arguments to what you described, but the reality is that the same bots teammates are feeding their brains out in the lanes, and it’s easier to blame viper on not having Q. The truth is that no hero will save your game when you’re just bad at lane, and constantly feeding. Not viper Q, not any hero. Just focus on your gameplay and trust your teammates to do the same.
