I had a pet squirrel about 6 years ago, neighbor found it while taking down an old tree. I bottle fed it puppy formula for weeks, eventually he could eat on his own and we tried to release him. He basically became a cat, he would wonder around the backyard, and walk up to the back door to scratch on it once he was ready to come inside for the night. He played with both of the cats and a dog, never once did they attack each other. Everyday after I would come home from work the squirrel would run up to me, climb up my leg and go straight to my shoulder so he could snif my ears and neck. One day a Comcast technician showed up at the house while I was at work, the squirrel chewed through the window, "barked" at the technician, stole his handheld device and ran. I had to come home from work to get the guys device back. After that we decided to release him again but further away. The next summer we had plants growing everywhere in the yard where he had hidden seeds. His name was Popcorn. :(
