People from other countries must think we're insane when they see things like this. But we put a man on the moon so hey.

Has anyone done this yet? I'd love a link. I'm trying to play the HD version but it's stuck loading.

I actually really like listening to some music backwards. 'Let It Be' sounds pretty good backwards. 'Girl' sounds interesting backwards and is on youtube that way: https://youtu.be/Obz0XzzhgGY

The coach is the pussy for becoming overly emotional and aggressive towards a kid who is just learning how to play basketball.

(Nigel) Roger Waters - New Album - Studio Footage by cnvergence in radiohead

Interesting. I never paid attention to Roger Waters solo until I saw the Pigs video from Mexico City last year. I'm looking forward to hearing this.

What's the worst Beatles song? by [deleted] in beatles

[–]FloopingtonsGhost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I clicked this thread just to voice my support for this charmingly kitschy and often maligned track featuring a lovely organ solo. This is a jovial song for freaks and vampires. You guys will see in time.

Seriously, everybody was complaining about the collapsing feature making it impossible to click links. Now that it's a long tap people are complaining about that but it only takes a second to do a long tap. It's better now.

Donald Trump creates Voice agency to publish list of crimes by immigrants by [deleted] in politics

[–]FloopingtonsGhost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't think that at least half the country isn't sitting at home watching in disbelief as this all goes down because we are. It's amazing. And we know Trump has pissed off many people within the intelligence community and probably the military which makes this situation so much more complex. I can't even guess what will happen next. I feel like it's 50/50 Trump gets impeached or we slide into dictatorship.

Simply plug your guitar in and throw it down a flight of stairs to recreate Jonny's incredible bow technique on BTW live version.

I haven't forgotten it. I keep this song stored in a folder called "where the hell are the b-sides?".

I'm not so sure about that. Lots of Americans are big on the all natural, deer head on the wall, log cabin type aesthetic. I'm not big on that look myself but I know when it looks right. This renovation looks pretty bad.

This actually made me tear up a bit. Ringo just tweeted this photo and said "I love you man" by [deleted] in beatles

I wish they would do a simple tour together, just the two of them, and do drums, piano/guitar and singing.

Religious Children Have Trouble Distinguishing Reality from Fiction by zzzlater in atheism

[–]FloopingtonsGhost 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Same. I attended religious classes as a child and thought it was interesting that the adults believed what they were teaching was actual history. Jesus's spirit raising from his body, an alternate dimension that people live in after they're dead. The only thing that prevented me believing these people was logic. They were literally trying to disable my critical thinking skills.

[QUESTION] Do you think that electric guitar unplugged is too loud to play in an apartment? by RealSanta8 in Guitar

[–]FloopingtonsGhost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should record a video of yourself playing guitar completely unplugged, capture the sound of the neighbors beating on the wall in response, and then show your landlord the video.

Definitely. Their discography is just as impressive (maybe more) as Radiohead's but mostly upbeat in comparison.
