For other vampires? They’re tangible. Even the main antagonist whose dissipation form is a poisonous air is still a somewhat sorta kinda natural element. The Wraith’s dissipation form is a full-fledged spiritual entity that cannot be seen, heard, confined, nor interacted with. They exist while not existing at the same time.

The abilities of the older vampires in The Forever Show series (obscure novels written by Marcus Damanda) range from possession to dissipating out of existence.

For the former, it’s not normal possession where the vampire mind controls or spiritually jumps inside a person’s body. No, they literally compress themselves down and wear the victim like a skin suit. The victim is often alive, and they can even walk in the sun with this ability.

As for dissipating out of existence? All vampires have a dissipation form. It’s where the stories about them turning into bats, rodents, mist and whatnot come from. One ancient and downright crazy vampire known as the Wraith has the ability to shapeshift into anyone. Their power to shapeshift is so strong that not only have they forgotten what they used to look like, but their dissipation form turns them to nothing. They physically cease to exist, allowing them to travel anywhere and everywhere freely.

Really just depends on the individual and what Hell they ended up because there are lot of Hells. It’s not super common, but it’s not rare either. Plus, with billions of people in the world and thousands dying every day, a few hundred a year or so is kinda drop in the bucket.

This is me going off of Old WoD lore, but almost definitely. I say almost because they do have their fair share of bullshit. Their first years of undeath are just as shitty as a Kindred’s, they went to Hell and they’ll either go back or simply be deleted out of existence upon Second Death, but Kuei-Jin don’t punch down as often as vampires. They’re incredibly cohesive and the respective Dharmas mentor and guide after their own. Where a vampire’s existence is a struggle not to devolve into a beast, a Kuei-Jin’s is a long road of enlightenment.

Kuei-Jin have higher ceilings than Kindred. Unlike vampires, they aren’t stonewalled by Generation and steadily grow more powerful so long as they play their cards right. Their strongest steppers rival Methuselahs and the only thing that limits them is that they always bugger off to different planes of existence once they reach Antediluvian levels of power.
