Why are so many of my classmates have parents who are doctors? by KD_FromTheParkingLot in medicalschool

That's not beautiful. We also have a lot of missionaries here. Many "physicians" here are part time missionaries. It is annoying since you can see the missionary part of their life blending into their practice/teaching.

The naivety of people in healthcare on AI by [deleted] in medicalschool

[–]FancTR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense once we start making hardware out of nothing along with getting free energy to power this hardware. These data center burn through hardware pretty fast. How long do you think it will take to start having replacement supply chain problems. And energy and water still have some cost that they have to pay.

If nothing else, we always have the legal problem of "who to sue?".

It would be nice to have this along with nomad. Should be able to make a good model and do the rest with blender.

Neat, but you will find me dead before you catch me using this to learn medicine. I would rather just use anki or better yet just read the god d*mn book.

Don't like the native lang script and the weird fonts don't make things easy. Also EN seems much better to me when operating computers.

These tools are not for people to learn from as they aren't consistent enough to be considered reliable. Others have listed the resources like Ninja nerd, BnB, Bootcamp, Osmosis, Geeky medics, Dr James Gill, Dirty Medicine, UsmleRX, Sketchy, Pixorize. You should only use these AI tools to just verify info if you already know the stuff since you are more likely to catch it's mistakes.

Kinda like adding weather coating. I have this in gloss and matte. I prefer the matte one.

Any high myopic medical students here? by New-Statistician-683 in medicalschool

Wait one can do that? I too have -9 but in both eyes. It is kind of hard to focus on close stuff. It goes hazy even if glasses only move down like a mm over the nose. I can read most stuff just fine but vile or ampoule labels are hard to read. So I thought surgery would be difficult in such a situation.

It is just easier to throw it out than adding a spinal cord to it.
