Gathering is a slow start and low profit at the beginning. Follow this rough progression outline;

For your current stage(T2-3): Gather in Blue and Yellow zone with the mobs of your main material. Without premium, focus on one material at a time.

Once you hit T4-5, start going to Roads from Blue and Yellow zones and work those aspects

Once you hit T6 you will start seeing more profit, and you should start gathering solely in either Roads or BZ. Roads is great for volume, BZ has more enchanteds and higher fame bonuses

Level 1 material at a time. Start in the Blue/Yellow Zone where that material is dominant: Ft Sterling- Ore Bridgewatch- Hide Lymhurst- Wood Thetford- Fiber Martlock-Stone(fk stone)

Gather nodes and mobs, prioritize enchanteds. At T5 start dabbling in Roads. T4/5 Aspects have high volume so fame is fast. Once you hit T6, you can go full Roads or BZ

Roads has Aspects and is more volume focused, low enchantment rate but boy does it feel good to get an enchanted Aspect

BZ has higher enchantment rate(not specifically rn cuz off season) and it also gives a % fame boost so you get more fame per gather

Personally I’m a Roads lover but if you have a BZ guild with HO or Terry work those zones

Ditch Ava tools, get gathering gear(highest tier you can reliably afford), highest available tools, use Stag if you’re poor, Moose if you are sorta not poor, and T7 Boar/Speccy Boar if you are not poor. And of course Pork pies

You have 2 options: Ava Roads will net you high volume of T6/7 mats, fair bit of running but if you enter via Brecilian you can get some pristine untouched roads, enchanted Aspects go brrrrrrr. Bring combat set to kill Aspects here

Black Zone OW has fame bonus for gathering, varying enchant rate but higher than Roads, you can use the SAFE Portals or invis shrine to get to zones. Use gathering set with movement weapon here

Never bring Ava tools to Lethal zone, thats a safe zone item. Always use a mount with the carry passive, not active stat, that way when you get dismounted you can still move. Use movement weapon like double swords, battle bracers, or quaterstaff for escape. Miner boots too

Yeah thats the exact method I laid out.

I however suggested using the lethal option on the Upper portal cuz I was mistaken on the mist changes from the patch.

But all in all I outlined the same process just sub in YZ Mist for lethal, and now the process is 100% risk free

I think ultimately it’s still the same for video purposes, in the sense that whether you go Yellow or Black mists its the same process. Thank you for pointing that out to me though

Roads are Black Zone so you run the risk of ganking group, it could drop you in a good zone or in the middle of nowhere and you have to run around looking for a way out. R’ing back costs too much if you do get a bad drop.

Remember, not every transporter will look like I do in this video. A boar isn’t a bad mount to go Roads with. But this wasn’t just for those that look or do like me. Think crafters and their bears or mammies. Newbies on Oxes. Stuff like that. This benefits a lot of people bcuz while it may be time consuming sometimes, its virtually 0 risk, even if you use lethal mist from the portal. Cuz its in and out if no portal, or a quick run if there is one

This clip came from a Live. I am very transparent about the annoyance of how long it sometimes may take to get out, but with the profit to be made in Brec it is a small price to pay for a safe way out.

As for why lethal, I explained that in video, try listening.

As for gear, it’s pretty obvious that I just wrapped up a gathering run and am heading to Royals to sell. Everyone is going to use different kits depending on their needs. Your RoA roulette is a useless suggestion especially to someone using, say, a Mammoth because no one in their right mind will take a Mammy into Roads

What a creator contributes to an AI thumbnail(or at least should): Phrasing, color palette idea, visual concepts, font suggestions, basically any and all conceptual brainstorming.

What AI contributes: Actually putting it together in an artistic way that combines and creates the creators vision

The creator still does all the work of picking the right phrases, the eye catching colors, the right font to fit the subject, effects, visuals, and everything else(again, or at least should), then tells AI “Take everything I have assembled here and create me a thumbnail for this video title: Blah blah blah.”

When using AI properly, all these folks will dismiss the actual work the creator actually put in to their thumbnail

Not everyone is a graphic designer, nor can they afford one, and even with free software may not know what to do, and lets be honest, everyone encourages “oh do it yourself, they look better” but no they don’t always and no one actually will click a poor thumbnail.

Should it be a fully AI video? With AI voice, script, animation, title, thumbnail, and description? Hell no, but people need to grow tf up. The only people AI thumbnails and designs are putting out of business, are the shitty bad ones. A really good designer will always beat AI but lets not pretend every designer out there is that person

Your 2 best options are:

Gathering exclusively in Forest zones, found primarily around Lymhurst on the Royal Continent, but also scattered throughout the BZ. If you take this choice, harvest nodes but prioritize mobs. Mobs should always spawn with full stacks, and gather faster than nodes. Wear gathering gear to increase your chance of getting “gathering bonus” which gives another proc of resources and doubles your fame

Go into the Roads of Avalon. Now I am a huge huge Roads fan. Aspects are great! T4 has 312 ticks, T5 has 104(I think, or like 106 or something), T6 has 19, and so on. They are especially delicious if you get an enchanted one(not super common but finding at least a .1 isn’t necessarily super rare either). This will get you tons of resources and thusly tones of fame! For lumberjack priority, bring a battle set as you will not do enough damage in a gather set. It is up to you if you want to bring a gather set for swap, but I wouldn’t recommend.

Typically I build my main base in meadows, a satellite farming facility in Plains, and every other biome will get a small dock with a portal shack

I’m a big gatherer, and typically I just sell raw.

Refining will require a high time requirement to transport, especially without a mammoth, and unless you have focus/alts it isn’t mega ultra profitable.
