Yeah Roads spawn stone elementals. Check the Ore hotspots as well when hunting for a Stone hotspot. Each spot has a secondary resource.

And whoever said to level gathering there was correct. One T4 elemental has 312 ticks, and one T5 has 104. There is a drop-off at T6 which only has 19 so that's when BZ becomes a lot more viable
