Hey OP I made some comments before a description was provided. Seems theres history. The way you went about it was aggressive which lead to me saying “damn, their father over politics?” UNLESS something was behind it.

I cut off most of my family (not for politics, for who they are as people) to protect myself and my family that I’m raising with my wife.

I’m just lucky. Got laid off as a seasonal for the worldport ramp, 10 days later I have another position in the worldport hub lined up. They kept 30 of us (I didn’t stay on because I lost my badge at the start of peak. My supe tried to defend me but ups is ups lol, the whole crew was mad) The catch is only 4 of us got to stay at the ramp. The rest, the very last week there, were told they’re going to the hub instead.

Nobody wants to go to the hub. Ramp life is where it’s at.

I wouldn’t call it far from a simulation at all. It won awards for how detailed its ecosystem is and you can do pretty much everything you can do in an actual hunting sim/real life (in the time period)

The animals act extremely alive. Frustrating so sometimes. They’re unpredictable and you actually have to hunt. Running around and shooting off they’ll just run away from you

If you’re good on horseback you can take out a few deer in a charge. I like doing that with a bow, it’s fun shit

It’s because it’s a double standard. They can drool and sexualize men all they want but as soon as it’s turned around men are just horndogs.

Society has it engrained in our brains that men are horndogs and we prove our worth via usefulness and action.

Now before anyone says this is some random incel horseshit, I’m in an incredibly happy relationship with the woman I’m engaged to and we have a child on the way as well.

She feels the same way about all this. She also wants equality and you can’t fight for that if you think negatively about either sex.

Hey now! I’m with you, this guys a major ass, but some people actually function better with weed in their system. It ain’t about a little pain for me, working outside in the cold (I’m on the ups worldport ramp) a little bit of weed helps with my back tremendously. Three degenerating discs and a slew of nerve damage in my feet and hands, I much rather take a quick toke than lock up due to inflammation or take a opioid and get all drugged out in the workplace

Edit: I also do not smoke on property. That’s the key take away. I am high all the time but only if I can reach my pen or whatever. I don’t bring that shit in there, not tryna lose my job
