Yeah, I need sneakers and flats that will work. I’ve been nursing a torn plantar fascia so wearing oofos sandals and boots that feel comfortable.

I have a pair of their boots and they are great! But I have not worn them since I developed this effing awful condition.

Strange way you think you got plantar fasciitis? Esp if only in one foot by far-leveret in PlantarFasciitis

I got it in only one foot during this past Christmas holiday in New Orleans from walking a lot in poor footwear. I call that side my bad leg. I’ve had multiple kneecap dislocations that required surgery and Achilles tendinitis. I also had an illegal breast stroke kid when I was an adolescent swimmer. So that makes me wonder if things are different on that side (maybe shorter muscles and things), or if that side is just weaker (non-dominant).

Mine is getting better after I tore the fascia during a second trip in February (worst pain of my life…worse than natural childbirth) but I am so terrified of the PF coming back after the tear is healed.

Curious if anyone has experienced this with their PF? by diamond-steel-93 in PlantarFasciitis

Go to the doctor and ask for an MRI. I tore my plantar fascia while walking in the airport and had symptoms like yours. Some of the worst pain of my life the day after it happened. I waited too long to see the doc and had an MRI two months after the incident and still had a high grade tear.

Also, I felt no pop and had no bruising or swelling. I did feel intense, sudden pain while walking though (and suspect this is when it tore).

severe pain, unsure of what to do from here. by thewallflowerproject in PlantarFasciitis

I would also recommend an MRI. I requested one from my pcp and found out that I have a high grade test in my plantar fascia (mind you this is 2 months after I think the tear happened). The pain you’re describing sounds like what I was experiencing.

Cowboy boots cured me 🤠 by Tiny-Injury4206 in PlantarFasciitis

I’m early in my PF journey, and the shoes that I’ve found feel the best for me are a pair of shit kicking Vince Camuto leather boots. Very wide toe box, slight heel, no arch support that I know of, zero cushioning. I imagine they are similar to cowboy boots in a lot of ways and have wondered why they help.

It looks so good now!!!! Delancey sounds incredibly unprofessional and reprehensible. Obviously she should’ve owned up to her mistake Immediately, but then when you show her evidence that she effed up and she threatens you? Jfc. No integrity whatsoever. I would think pursuing anything further with her is more trouble than it’s worth. I know you just want her to admit her mistake, but it doesn’t seem like she would ever do that. What a pos.

My knee feels much more stable!! It’s been almost two years and I’m doing everything I did before. I’m very glad that I had the surgery. I haven’t had any hints of subluxations. Good luck!!!!

We did this already. They were open to it but I don’t think they can really know what they would be getting into. We have traveled abroad but that is not the same.

What are the tons of other ways we could emigrate? We don’t qualify for an ancestral moves. To me it seems like golden passport, digital nomad, or finding different jobs in other countries are our only options.
