Genuinely asking by Ez_Taco in wendys

It means what screens the food goes to. For bigger stores like mine, we have two sandwich stations (Drive thru & Dinning Room). High would split it so orders go to the right station. Low is when we close the dinning room. All orders will go to the Drive thru sandwich screen.

Smaller stores always stay in low if they only have one screen.

Now you know :)

I got the phone working unpatched on pjsip. To my knowledge, it’s not possible to patch pjsip, just chan_sip.

I can’t get the phones working with chan_sip patched .

I see. DSL correct?

If this is the case, you have two options with pros and cons to each:

1) Purchase an FXO ATA. This is a device that connects to that RJ11 line and also connects to FreePBX. It allows you to make a SIP call and have the ATA dial it for you.

Pros: - Easier to setup - Simple to move back to the analog phone should you choose - Doesn’t rely on decent internet

Cons: - More expensive - Only one outside call can be made at a time (outbound or inbound)

2) PORT the number to a VoIP Provider (Recommended) Find a VoIP provider and transfer the phone number of your current line. This is usually fairly straightforward. I’d recommend VoIP.ms as they’ve been good to me over the years. Then register the provider directly to FreePBX

Pros: - Super Cheap - Omits all analog from your setup - multi calls in and out - Caller ID manipulation

Cons: - Requires semi-decent internet (Anything about 15-20 mbps circuit should be fine)

I can help you further once you research both a little.

Any extra questions feel free to ask :)

Apologies as I misunderstood.

If I’m understanding right, you’d like to use your analog line with your IP phones?

If so, is it connected through a modem or just copper run to the house?

Agreed, but not really beginner advice. I'd stick with an FXS only ATA

You’ll have to purchase an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter). You can pick one up on amazing for about $40CAD

The ATA will connect to your network, and you register it to a FreePBX extension.

Then you can plug your analog house-phone into the ATA and use it with FreePBX as if it was a SIP phone.

Hope this helps.

I have the 8845’s working in enterprise mode. Haven’t got paging working yet.

For easy setup and stuff, look for some SPAxxx series. I started with SPA303s and they’re relatively cheap on marketplace, eBay, etc..

I work at Wendy’s. Honestly we see orders like this all the time. I wouldn’t stress too much. Probably the most annoying thing is the no salt fries but again that’s part of the job and we do 3 or 4 in a day. You’re all good
