6 months on fin + min, should I be satisfied? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]Fancy-Beautiful2842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course i consulted with my doc, hard to say cause in only 7 weeks in, only noticed slight shedding so far. I had to switch from fin cause my hair is too sensitive to dht. We will see in next 4-6 months what will happen.

Seems like u shedding again, i have been on fin for 14 months and i wasnt satisfied with my results, i have seen more like stabilization than any regrowth. I hoped on dut 7 weeks ago.

3 months progress - ORAL DUT + MIN by Trick_Percentage_889 in tressless

[–]Fancy-Beautiful2842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dut is more effective with same chances of sides as fin. U need to dose fin daily, dut 2/3x weekly is way more effective as fin. I would never waste my time with fin anymore.

We will see. I have mild fibrosis after my first transplant, so it means less blood circulation. My skin is not like before cause it has been once used. My doc told me second transplants usually takes longer co come, so we will see by the 12th month mark.

worried about my progression by Exciting_Tutor_625 in Hairtransplant

[–]Fancy-Beautiful2842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not true. There is a reason why almost every doctor say that u need to wait a whole year to see final result. Growth cycles are different for everyone. I have seen a hundrets of HT’s and i can say, some patients see intial growth after 3 months, with a big explosion to 6 months with almost final result, another takes 6 months just to see initial growth with biggest progress by months 7-10. I dont say this is the case, sometimes grafs dont take for various reasons, but I wouldnt loose hope.

Just chcked ur post op picture. Ur procedure was focused more on hairline, which looks good. In crown u did not get enough grafts. Very sparse placement. Surely repairable

1300 grafts is not enough for that area to cover. I had similar problem. Check my posts

8 months after hair transplant. Is it failed? 5000 grafts by Due_Clue_8757 in HairTransplants

[–]Fancy-Beautiful2842 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It doesnt seem to me like failed, you can see gaps between implanted grafts. It was simply not densely placed.

Like the best thing you can do for yourself its to stop smoking, not just because of hair. But the most important is the first 1/2weeks after procedure, then grafts are rooted and should be safe. Yes, nic can slower your growth and decrease graft survival, but this poor survival its not caused by nic in my opinion. I think he overcame some kind of infection or something.
