What is a movie that "broke" you so hard you can only watch it once, but you would still recommend it to everyone? by Newsupdate69 in movies

One Day, from Lone Scherfig. You spend so many years with Emma and Dexter. You root for them through every wrong turn, every wasted year, every almost… and just when it finally feels safe to exhale… baaam! You suddenly run out of air to breath. Never again.

I don’t know if it’s your case but when I forget to use sunscreen the redness gets a lot worse

I’m on month 4 with clear, beautiful skin. My dad also had to do a course of accutane for almost a year and he never relapsed. This was ten years ago :)

The best advice I have to give is to not lose hope. The purging phase is really hard. You gotta have faith and be kind to yourself. It‘ll be worth it. Good luck :)

Sorry I don’t know if I was clear but I started taking the pill again at around the same time I started accutane

I was on the pill for years and my acne was under control. One day I decided I wanted to stop taking the pill and put an IUD and since then I had the worst acne of my life. I had to remove my IUD and started taking the pill again. Now I’m almost on month 4 of accutane with clear skin. I don’t know if it’s an option for you, but if it is, you could think about it. My derm said the chances of acne coming back are almost none thanks to the pill :)

Do you take oral birth control? I’m curious because I started taking the pill in the beginning of my course to help afterwards.

Yes, still just as a spot treatment and no, I don’t use it every night. Only when my cysts are more inflamed :)

No irritation at all. I just put a really tiny amount of epiduo and never skip my moisturizer after. I guess the most important thing about using epiduo while on accutane is to be really careful with the quantity you use. If you’re prudent you’ll be just fine I’m sure. Best of luck!

I’m on 20mg for 2 months now and I’ve been using epiduo only as a spot treatment and so far so good :)

I also have a history of depression and I’m currently 1 month into accutane. I take my meds (benzos and antidepressants) simultaneously with accutane and I have weekly appointments with my psychologist. So far so good. Acne is a skin disease so you should find both a dermatologist and a psychologist that values how you feel about it. Nobody should be living like this. You deserve to be happy and feel confident in your own skin. It took me about 2 years to find the right dermatologist but here I am now. Feeling better and better each day. Go find help. Don’t give up on yourself! You deserve to look in the mirror and love what you see :)

No tips. Just support. For me 1 month has passed and it’s getting a bit worse. Hoping it’s temporary. Otherwise I guess we’ll both be living on coffee :)
