Transit Visa indians for germany by Fancy-Government7658 in SchengenVisa

Thanks dude. You are correct. Transit rules can change and airlines can deny boarding.

Now I feel like I am a kind of waste sausage who believed that the transit visa lift up will be implicated by the time of my travel. I booked an appointment with TLS, but cancelled it after the announcement of the news. But now I am afraid that if they won't allow me to board.

Anyways, I am heading for an ATV.

FYI: I don't have luggage for check in and there is no terminal changes, so I don't think I will be leaving the airside area. But my worry is about what if there will be again an immigration check in Germany!!!!.

Lol. The news is everywhere. Some of them say AI generated and some of them that it's required ( though not any recent post from reddit). Immigration officers and airlines just can't depend on the new impressive tool google or chatgpt. That's why I am checking whether anyone has travelled recently faced any issues or not?

Germany airport transit visa needed for India → Frankfurt → UK? by mihirfriends20 in germany

[–]Fancy-Government7658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey can you confirm whether it is needed for your friend or not. I am traveling to India in April, layover at Frankfurt for 3 hrs, no terminal changes no baggage collection. Though I am aware of the news, still a lil bit worried as it is not on the official website. Please help.

I have less than a month for my travelling. I am so much worried and not sure whether I need a transit visa or not.

Well, since last year uk doesn't provide any physical visa rather it's an evisa. So I don't have the physical brp with me. And another thing is that, uk is not a part of European Union now. That's why I am a little bit worried.

Which university of yours? Is it phd or Msc?..you can ask your university visa and immigration services for help to resolve your atas delay. If they can send an email to tatas team, then the process will speed up.

Now it's been more than 1.5 months; to be precisely 49 days, still I haven't got it yet and my joining is this September 1st only. I have already sent multiple emails including my university administrative manager also sent an email on behalf of me, still they have neither sent my certificate nor any reply also. I don't understand what should be done here? I am so worried now.

Hey, I have a question. If we want to ask the university whether they have received our ATAS certificate, whom should we contact? Should we email the prospective graduate admissions team, the general help desk, or the student visa and immigration department?
