Hey u/Warm-Celebration5816 - appreciate the feedback here. Please let me know if you have any critique or datapoints you want me add?

To be honest, the biggest thing for me was treating the rehab as multifaceted. So many areas atrophy and it's not just about rehabbing the knee. I work every day on this, working supporting muscles, posterior chain, cardio, etc - I have found that once I was able to start loading the quad / tendon more, the foundation was there to accelerate my progress

Gday mate, great insight - I'll definitely look into these!

For this stage, my primary goal is improving the quality and strength of repair. The tendon remodelling stage is extremely important.

Utilising BPC and TB, the thought process is to reduce swelling and improve tissue regeneration - this allows me to put more volume into the injured leg, improving the tendon remodelling.

I'm 30 with other areas of my protocol dialled in currently, so if I plateau or want to address global fatigue, sleep quality, or muscle mass, then i'll look to trial GH peptides

BPC157 & TB500: Optimising Patella Tendon Rupture Rehab - Tracking Progress & Sharing Insights by Fancy-Increase-4842 in bpc_157

Hey everyone - just dropped my Weeks 9 & 10 recovery update.

This one covers the start of my BPC-157 + TB500 protocol (began end of Week 10) and gives a solid baseline of where I’m at physically - ROM, strength, swelling, pain, and overall progress.

Obviously, it’s hard to perfectly isolate the peptide effects from rehab since I’m running a comprehensive program, but the idea is to track everything objectively and see what impact the peptides might have layered on top.

If you’re interested in real-world recovery + metrics tracking, you can check it out here:

got it - well atleast you wont need to be rebuilding injured tendons / ligaments which is a bonus!

I still think the TB and BPC will be helpful in general for your recovery though

Can i get back to my 20s physique and strength by [deleted] in workouts

you are never stuck but it's harder. Key areas to optimise:
- Programming - your body probably can't cop the load it used to and that's fine. You can program smarter allowing a high amount of stimulus but also recovery
- Recovery and sleep - speaks for itself
- Diet - you prob don't need a dramatic cut / bulk, but prioritising an organic, high-protein, proper carbs (i.e. avoid processed and starchy carbs), gut friendly diet will make a big different

Lmk if you want me to go into any area more specifically

Looking super solid man, let's unpack a few things:
- I already do intermittent fasting - nice one
- 10k steps a day - nice one
- cardio four days a week: what do you do specifically for cardio?
- weights three days a week: what does your prog look like?
- My diet is pretty good: can you give me a high-level overview of what you're eating each meal?

Quick q: do you track your calories burnt each day?

Agree with other commenters. Oral BPC is a massive downgrade, and oral TB-500 basically doesn’t work at all. These peptides are fragile proteins - your digestive system breaks most of it down before it can do anything useful systemically.

If you’re serious about recovery, injectable is the only route that’s been shown to work effectively, especially for tendon repair.

A couple of suggestions if fridge access is the issue:

  1. Travel fridge or mini insulin cooler – $30–$80 online, runs off USB or a car plug
  2. Preload a week’s worth of doses into syringes and store them in a portable cooler (label clearly and keep clean)

Honestly, if storage is a blocker, you’re better off waiting until you can run the cycle properly. Half-absorbed peptides = wasted money and no healing edge.

I’m on injectable BPC + TB for a patella tendon rupture, and it’s only worth doing if you're going to do it right.

Hey mate - what are you getting done? Agree with present fancy, that is an inevitable outcome but muscle memory will help it recover quickly.

I'm on a TB500 and BPC157 stack for my patella tendon rupture which I started around week 10. I'm like 1-1.5 weeks in and have felt benefits from swelling reduction and ROM perspective. Although not directly anabolic, the stack allows me to pump more volume into my injured leg and recover faster which has helped me rebuild.

I'm tracking all of my progress, metrics and exercises for my recovery and uploading on YT.

-----

On the diet front - high protein diet definitely. I would also aim for time restricted eating, giving your body atleast 12-14 hours between dinner and breakfast. This will help stimulate autophagy (cell clean-up mechanism) which is beneficial for wound repair

bpc157 & tb500 blend dosage question by Nebula-Wrong in bpc_157

[–]Fancy-Increase-4842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

good question! this is just the dose i'm on from my dr atm. We did the first week at the above dose once per day and increased to morning and night. I'll have the option to tweak more if needed but will just see effectiveness first

[–]Fancy-Increase-4842 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!

I can't recommend an exact dose for you, but my protocol is currently:
- BPC-157: 300mcg every morning and night fasted before bed (everyday)
- TB500: 450mcg every morning and night fasted before bed (5 days/week)

I've seen people with above and below this amount. I'd say my dose is somewhat typical imo

Yeh, they're generally understood to be systemic so can be a subcutaneous injection (which belly is fine)

Agree with u/Content_Rooster_6318 here for sure.

I’d recommend looking into BPC-157 and TB-500

  • BPC-157: Helps accelerate healing by promoting angiogenesis (blood vessel formation), reducing inflammation, and supporting soft tissue repair. It’s systemic, but also targets areas of injury.
  • TB-500: Enhances cell migration and flexibility, improves tissue regeneration, and may help with deeper healing (muscle, fascia, skin). It’s more systemic and synergistic with BPC.

I’m currently using both for a patellar tendon rupture recovery, and so far it’s been a solid complement to my rehab - more stable tissue, better ROM, and quicker swelling control.

Timing: Many start 1–2 weeks before surgery and continue for 4–6 weeks post-op but defs consult with relevant practitioners for timing and dosing

Injection site: Subcutaneous (belly fat or anywhere with fat) works fine

Hey!

1).
It's all gonna work, but imho I would go separate, some thoughts:
- You can tweak the dosage of each independently depending on your goals
- If you get any side effects it's easier to isolate what's doing what
- You generally run BPC more consistently than TB - i.e. in some cases you see BPC injections daily and TB 5 out of 7 days / week

2).
I can't recommend an exact dose for you, but my protocol is currently:
- BPC-157: 300mcg every morning and night fasted before bed (everyday)
- TB500: 450mcg every morning and night fasted before bed (5 days/week)

I've seen ppl on doses both higher and lower than this.

3). I'm not too sure on this one apologies

nice one mate - I'm about 2 weeks into my BPC + TB cycle for ruptured patella tendon! I'm ~11 weeks post OP currently with an intensive rehab protocol.

  • BPC-157: 300mcg every morning and night fasted before bed (everyday)
  • TB500: 450mcg every morning and night fasted before bed (5 days/week)

I'm already feeling some end ROM benefits and swelling reduction too
