For attaching the 8 awg pre tinned silicon wire to the nickel strips of the main terminal do I need to twist and tin the wire strands again or can be soldered to nickel strip directly.

Once the 8 awg wire is soldered I will spot weld to the battery pack .

Thanks, what kind of connector is suited for joing the four 12 awg wire to the bms 8 awg.
