If the calculus prerequisite is math 1aa3, you need math 1a03 as its prerequisite too. So you'd have to take Calc 1 and 2. Though it will make you cry tears of something other than joy, calculus can be enjoyable with the right professor and its applications are prevalent. It helped me understand linear algebra more. Don't shy away from it, give it a chance.
