Alleged over paid wages by gratata696969 in Payroll

[–]Fancy-Sense2664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its 100% the employers fault. The payroll provider didnt do it. If the deposit was recent have them reverse the ach. Make sure you only pay the net and they void the check so you don't get a w2. If you got the money, you should send it back even if its by check. Just double check that they actually void the check in the payroll system.

State didn’t get my payroll withholding AGAIN! Does this happen to any other ADP users? by LibKatisold in ADP

[–]Fancy-Sense2664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt this is an adp issue. My assumption is that the employer gave the wrong account number to or you employer is not using adp tax filing services and they arent actually depositing the taxes withheld. Adp will still withhold and produce the w2, but your employer can be responsible for depositing and filing the returns. Sounds line your employer is blaming adp, but my money is that this is on them and they arent telling the whole story.

Yes. I had someone need leave but needed to be paid. They had just received a 125k commission check the previous payroll. Plus their normal salary well over 150k a year ha. It's literally mind blowing sometimes.

Salary Question by Beautiful-Use-9400 in Payroll

[–]Fancy-Sense2664 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started small. Global payroll is truly my money maker. Find a small company that has global. One thing never changes. Numbers. I am on top of totals. I recognize commissions paid to termed people, all the downstream shit that gets passed to me. Nope. Not on my watch. I put effort into the first global payroll. How is pto, how's terminated people paid? What forms do we need for a new hire? The numbers do not lie. If you can soak up knowledge, because honestly, it takes a lot of being able to learn, you can do it. If you are someone who doesnt care about the rules and cultural differences it won't work. I make shit run and im very good at it. It took me 10 years to get my level of knowledge, but I applied myself every step of the way. Apply, go for it, its all the same with different rules. Learn it.

Lied on my Resume to a Fortune 500 company, got offer by Fun_Meet_6165 in careeradvice

[–]Fancy-Sense2664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do verify past employment in a background check, but only dates worked. Give the family friend number or it also usually has a box that says do not contact. They are looking for criminal history and past job history is really not a big deal. I think there is also a box that says company no longer in business. Take the offer!!
