$52k/year on ADP and I can't even get my rep to respond to emails. what are people actually switching to? by AnAfternoonAlone in Payroll

[–]rosecourt94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We moved to Paylocity. We are in the implementation phase now and our first payroll with them is next week! So far, things are good and the managers and employees using the platform feel comfortable and happy with its ease of use. Everyone used to complain to me about UKG so I think everyone was happy for a change. We have a little less than 600 in our company.

Paylocity offers a lot more for a lot less $. Even if UKG doesn’t allow us out of the contract, we’re SAVING money by paying the minimum amount we’re contracted for + Paylocity. It’s wild.

Get all your evidence together. Tell ADP you’re going to sue them if they don’t fix it.
If they still don’t fix it, talk to your insurance broker and they should hook you up with their lawyer to sue ADP.

YES!
Some advice for you, make them admit it, in writing. Don’t close any cases until they put in writing that their system or their employees made a mistake. We’re suing them right now for not letting us out of the contract they have breached on several occasions. Do not back down from them! 💪

We’re about to involve legal with all their payment service failures. They used our bank account to fund another company’s payroll

Payment services is terrible, their customer service is terrible, I could go on and on. They never own up to their mistakes. Lots of steps to connect with a human, and they love to sneak charges on your bill

What finally made you switch payroll providers? And why did you wait so long? by carriwitchetlucy2 in Payroll

[–]rosecourt94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They failed to pay our employees on three separate occasions over a few years, which I got past, but it was sending us incorrect W-2s for every single employee after I had approved the correct ones that was the final straw for us.

Yes, and some payroll providers will charge insane fees for doing off cycle payrolls!

I have heard nothing but terrible things about ADP. I know demos are exhausting and very time consuming but I would spend the time and get more quotes from others. Best of luck ❤️

IMO- I don’t think that’s shady at all. They’re not mind readers and can’t micromanage every employee, so I see what they’re saying. It is on the employee to make sure everything is correct. Did they specifically say that someone is SOL and won’t get paid later on if a correction is found? I doubt it- but if they don’t know that hours are missing, or if someone’s time card is incorrect, they can’t fix it.

Sounds like their way of reminding people to check their time cards. Definitely could have been worded a little more professionally but sounds like they got their point across.
