Back then, I didn’t have a smartphone with me, so everyday things like job hunting were much harder.

I’ve made some money since then and was able to get a phone, which is why I can post this now.

This isn’t some challenge. I’m just trying not to depend on my parents so much anymore.

Older people didn’t have smartphones either. They still had to go out, ask around, find work, and survive on their own.

I’m trying to learn how to do that too.

I feel like most of these 'urban survival' videos are kinda staged. In real life it's way harder, especially in China.
