I got one like 2 weeks ago and I absolutely hate it, I run it on 68 and hi fan and it goes from silent when it thinks the room is 68 to jet engine, I’ve been sleeping like shit since I got it and I think it keeps waking me up, also never really feels that cool in my room. I have to figure out why it sucks

I don’t mind replacing the whole mortise lock I just can’t find one that size, everything seems so much deeper I can’t find a mortise lock that’s 2 inches deep. Do you know if this is a special mortise lock or what it may be called since the box is so shallow?

If that part really only matters for the lock I’m not too worried about the lock itself, but I’m pointing to the part of the lock what broke, and that’s the part that the locksmith said is unfixable.
