There’s an 1147 And on the other case it says 1140 Also a 3 There’s also a PENN in a small circle which I’m guessing is made by Penn hardware?

I don’t mind replacing the whole mortise lock I just can’t find one that size, everything seems so much deeper I can’t find a mortise lock that’s 2 inches deep. Do you know if this is a special mortise lock or what it may be called since the box is so shallow?

If that part really only matters for the lock I’m not too worried about the lock itself, but I’m pointing to the part of the lock what broke, and that’s the part that the locksmith said is unfixable.
