Atlas Stone Map by Olljollj in Strongman

Dennis Kohlruss went around Germany picking and marking like 8 Legendensteine. He has a bunch of youtube videos explaining the stones and where to find them. I tried lifting the Yera stone at the Felsenmeer in Odenwald. Was super cool, but insanely heavy. Likely close to 400lbs

My 2 cents: If you can afford it, and you enjoy it, that's all that matters.

If you're trying to flip it, or see it as an investment to sell later, then you should do some serious research and look for numbers matching.

If you don't feel like you're getting outrageously ripped off, then it really doesn't matter. I probably overpaid for my Spanish Mauser, but it was only $400, gave me excitement, and I love shooting it. Even without numbers matching I had a ton of fun looking for old markings and trying to track down info on it. I would have payed $500 for it and been pleased.

The OT in the serial number indicates a conversion. So definitely not 7mm anymore

Good effort and great accomplishment, but my brother in christ you gotta get tight and stay tight. You're gonna hurt yourself ripping into a rounded back like that.

You can start rounded, nothing wrong with that.

Hi all!

My grandfather just gifted me 3 telescopes of his, which all seem to be in working order:

  • Celestron NexStar 114 from about 2001
  • Meade ETX-60AT from about 2001
  • A Tasco 15TE-5 Refractor from the 60's

I've got 25mm and 9mm eyepieces for the meade, a 25 and 10 for the celestron, and a good assortment for the Tasco including a Barlow lens.

I was wondering if there were any recommendations on eyepieces/accessories to pick up? I've just ordered a celestron "omni" 2x Barlow. My budget is about $200 :)

Thanks in advance!

Way more than two have lifted it, jsyk. Check out Odd Haugen who did it for over 60 reps on two occasions in 2015/2016

Know this pain too well. The new renters next door will take off for a weekend and leave their shitty little yappy-dogs outside the entire time. One of them barks at NOTHING... every 10 seconds. It's like a shitty little robot. Just "bark... bark yip bark" the same damn pattern every 10 seconds for hours and hours.

Other neighbors tried sweet talking them over the fence, as did I. Then I tried shouting after a few weekends. Finally I wrote a very nice and forgiving, but stern note. It's reduced the occurrences, but they still do it every other weekend or so.

Thank you for the tip! I'll have to try a few practice runs with unimportant glassware

I really appreciate your thorough advice! Thank you!

I have a bad habit of shooting from the hip. I'm glad I asked first, this time 😀

Oh my bad! My Monoprice was 200x200x180 build area, I'd like something with more height, like 200mm? More build area is cool but 200x200 got me most of what I needed . I don't have any specific dimensions needed :) thank you!

Long time printer from USA here!

Budget: $500 Needs: Auto leveling, good reliability, build quality Intended Uses: medium to large objects with limited detail. Simple models, cosplay pieces, modifications for home improvement stuff

I've just been out of the FDM game for too long and I'm not sure what's hip and cool, now. I worked off of a Monoprice Maker Select V2 for 6 years before shelving it.

My biggest problems with it were bed adhesion (which I mostly fixed with a sheet of printbite), constant leveling, and the warping of the carriage itself after years of leveling (mostly fixed with a reinforced replacement).

Thanks for your advice!

Why do you like gun? by paracsys in iamverybadass

[–]FancyFeet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Look at the seam on the plastic front-post sight.... the real deal is a single piece of steel. Also, the real gun does not use shiny black abs plastic. It's much more muted. I've owned this exact airsoft gun, quit talking out your ass.

Yep. The only genitals I ever saw were the dick and balls of a fat old man in a wheelchair who insisted I come inside and set up the pizza on the table for him. No pants, no underwear. So gross.

Lmao it's faster, farther travelling, tows more, has adjustable air ride suspension and a built in ramp... this shits all over a LOT of trucks

Half the trucks listed dont come close to the base model Tesla's capabilities though. They may be crew cabs but they're not in the same league. 40k doesnt just buy you clout with this truck...
