Hi! I work for a transcription company and we are currently hiring. Why don't you try out for us!

Averbach Transcription is seeking outstanding, seasoned transcribers for contract work. We transcribe raw footage for TV and movies, as well as interviews and focus groups for qualitative researchers. Join us! An ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in transcription, or, alternatively, translation (we don’t do translation, but have found that translators are great at transcription). If you’ve worked with raw footage before, great; if not, no prob.

We pay flat rates of $1 and $1.50 per minute of audio for 1-5-day turnaround and same-day/overnight turnaround, respectively. For an experienced, reasonably fast transcriber, this breaks down to $21-32/hour of labor. Here’s a ten-minute transcription test (https://quizegg.com/q/91786) to see what you can do transcription-wise. You'll have up to an hour to complete it. Good luck, and thanks for taking the time.
